sulfur smelling Lingering Gas ( horrible)
for the last 4 years I've had terrible gas, the smell is Horrible and lingers for a long time. The Gas smells like Sulfur and No Doctor can figure it out. I've cut out Dairy, Eggs, Corn, High fructose. I've had many tests and I just don't know what else to do? It isn't every day that the odor is there

He was a liver transplant (2) survivor. He’s in a better place. I spent thanksgiving with my mother, along

Experience with palliative radiation?
I asked oncologist if palliative radiation to one particular tumor might be a temporary solution to some breathing issues I am having (see below). However, I wonder if others have been through this before and what and if the side affects of the radiation would be worth the pay off? I have stage four

I am now approaching 21 months post transplant (MF) and feeling well. My last consultation and bloods was about 3 months ago. I've only had phone consultations since March last year and so I'm hoping my next appointment, due in June, will be face to face at the QE B'ham where I had the transplant. I'm

Finding Support
Hello everyone~ I'm new in the Raleigh, NC area and looking for someone to take the journey with me through the kidney transplant process. I don't know where I can go to reach out to find folks who can volunteer to go down this path. I cannot begin the transplant program without having a supportive partner

Is there a difference between Collapsing Glomerulopathy and C3?
My son, 17, was just diagnosed with collapsing Glomerulopathy after having had a kidney transplant in June of 2020. My doctor told me there is no known cases of it happening in pediatric patients and my son is the youngest she knows of to ever have it. She explained to me that it usually happens either

Seeing blood in toilet
I’m getting kinda worried... I’ve been seeing blood in the toilet and when I wipe on and off for nearly 3 years now, I’ve had two colonoscopys the first saying nothing wrong maybe some thickening of the TI and the second saying 2 haemorrhoids and two small arthpoid erosions, recently seen blood again

Nobody Wants Cancer. But a ‘Big C’ Label Has Surprising Upsides.
« “The cancer designation did open up significant new funding opportunities, for example from the National Cancer Institute,” said Barbara Van Husen, board chair of the MPN Research Foundation. “It has definitely accelerated research.” There are more than 200 clinical trials underway for various MPNs

Hello, After finding out my son had an unknown kidney disease and stage 4 failure in late September of 2018 we worked fast to try to find him a donor. Luckily we were able to find a donor and he had his transplant in June of 2020. He had one rejection episode just days after we came come from the hospital

Update after BMB
It's been awhile since my first BMB, but have been recovering & processing the results. I had a hard time with sedation & took me some time to reset myself from that ordeal (getting sick, having two veins blow out with blood draws & iv). I lost weight & only weighed at 104 lbs that day! I was diagnosed
