Do i have colon cancer?

I'm freaked out. My poop has been coming out like this for almost 2 months now. Before this it used to come out stringy and thin. I have alot of constipation and lately they've been coming out like this since I've added fiber powders to help me go regularly. There are sometimes days at a time that i don't go. They tend to come or bloody. This shape is definitely not normal and i know something is wrong. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Hello Mia-is-a-boycat ,Thank you for posting in our community. Please contact your primary care doctor, or if you already have one, a gastroenterologist. Anytime you are experiencing changes in your bowel habits, it is a good idea to check in with your doctor. With COVID, this may be a video call as opposed to an in-person visit, but it is best to speak to a medical professional.

A diagnosis won't be able to be made from a photo, so be sure to write down your medical history and any questions you have for the doctor ahead of time. When you speak to your doctor, be sure to let them know of any medications you are taking, including over the counter medications and supplements like fiber.

Your doctor will determine based on your age, symptoms, and family history if a test for bowel cancer is needed.

The best thing you can do now is speak to a medical professional so that they can determine if further tests are needed.

Please keep us posted,

This happens when I take Metamucil. It’s something todo with the fiber
