I don't worry about the "C" label at all. The disease is no different pre 2008 or post 2008. It is what it is. However, labels sometimes do matter when it comes to perceptions, priorities and funding. These diseases are in fact neoplasms and properly labeled as such now that the understanding is better. I am glad to hear that perhaps it has helped with the $$.
