I’m getting kinda worried... I’ve been seeing blood in the toilet and when I wipe on and off for nearly 3 years now, I’ve had two colonoscopys the first saying nothing wrong maybe some thickening of the TI and the second saying 2 haemorrhoids and two small arthpoid erosions, recently seen blood again wasn’t straining and wasn’t sat on the toilet for a long time, but this time get a sharp pain in the lower left side if I step wrong with left leg. Also I don’t know if it will be connected but my right gland in neck has been swollen ever since this started. Quite recently I am getting breathless by just walking up the stairs, I do have family history of bowel cancer, my dad has had it twice and brother I think had it and spread which unfortunately he couldn’t fight. I just don’t really know what else to do.. attached some photos

Maybe a CT scan is needed? When was your last colonoscopy?
Hello Kitch97 ,
Thank you for posting. I'm sorry to read about what you are experiencing. Did the gastroenterologist who performed the colonoscopy and diagnosed you with hemorrhoids, refer you to a colorectal surgeon to consult on treatment of the hemorrhoids?
The other issues you are experiencing, shortness of breath, pain, should absolutely be evaluated by a doctor. Perhaps starting with your primary care doctor is a good first step?
They may want to do a video or phone consult to start due to COVID, but it does sound like you are in need of further evaluation. And if you aren't satisfied with the care or follow up with your doctors, please consider getting a second opinion.
It is important to know if you have had family members with colorectal (bowel) cancer. Hereditary colorectal cancers make up roughly 5-10% of colorectal cancers. There are tests that can be performed to see if you have a syndrome that will make it more likely for you to develop colorectal, among other cancers. Often your primary care doctor will be able to connect you with a genetic counselor.
Please keep us posted and follow up for additional tests. We hope you get some relief soon, as well as answers.

Just a reminder - this group is here to offer support, share experiences, and offer our thoughts - but this is not medical advice, and you should always consult your medical professional(s). Additionally, for all emergencies, seek urgent medical care, never delay.
No I’ve not heard nothing since I got the results letter in august 2020, if it is to happen again I will give the doctors another call, I’m keeping track every time it happens, oohh I will ask to be connected to the genetics as that would be useful, Thankyou for your advice ☺️
Hi Kitch, very similar to you I’ve bled for the past year and a half along with chronic constipation it seems. Last July 31 I had a colonoscopy, which came out clear. However, upon consultation with a second gastroenterologist who reviewed this colonoscopy he said the other doc missed getting a good picture of the rectum/anus area. This is incredibly unnerving and disturbing how they could not get a good picture of this area and had totally put my mind into an endless cononumbdrum of a mindfu@&. Anyway I don’t know what to do and whether I should get another colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy so they can focus on the anus/ rectum area. It may just be internal hemorrhoids but I’m so frustrated.
