Recipes for fatty liver?
Hello. My husband was just diagnosed with fatty liver. All the Dr. said was to eat a low fat diet and that it can be reversed. He still has to have a flex scan done and he has an appointment with a dietitian next week. But I was wondering if anyone has some recipes or ideas for food until his appointment

My #1 support person & me
I'm new to the form. I have mcrpc. I was on lupron injections for almost 1 year. I didn’t like the pain for 5 days after injection plus insurance only paid half the cost so I got an orchiectomy. I don’t regret that. Several months after the orchiectomy, my PSA level went up so my urologist said it’s

Can Ketone Esters provide Ketones without a Ketone diet?
Back in 2013, Dr. Mary Newport gave a Ted talk on her re-discovery of MCT oil (she'd been aware of it for several years). In short, it greatly helped her husband with AZ. More recently, Ketone Esters are said to be even more potent than MCT oil. This video is from Dr Newport's talk. I've started looking

Insulin resistance & Fibro
Hi everyone. Did anyone have heard about connection between insulin resistance and fibromyalgia? This leads to the next question: did anyone tried a low carbohydrate diet and seen an improvement in their fibro pains? Thanks 😊

Undiagnosed painful bladder with neuropathic extensions in legs and up to head.
Please help. My partner was admitted to hospital 9 days ago with an extremely painful bladder/urination problem accompanied by unquenchable thirst. A sudden and desperate need to urinate without actually urinating anything much at all, and then having to constantly retry. It also seems to have a neuropathic

Loperamide or Budenoside
I have just been diagnosed with collagenous colitis and have a telephone appointment next week. From my research budenoside is a recommended treatment but my GP said it’s usually loperamide which is the same as Imodium. I’ve been using Imodium but as soon as it wears off the diarrhoea returns. Anyone

Burning legs a statin side effect?
I started statins approx 2 yrs ago following a diagnosis of CVD. It’s hard to put a time on it but I’m sure that it’s since then that I started with burning legs. I’ve changed from Atorvastin to Simvastatin because I’d also started having discoid eczema. The eczema on my legs seems much better although

Today, there was a new article in Parkinson's News Today on Sodium Oligomannate being studied for Parkinson's Disease because Chinese studies have been so successful using this seaweed-extracted sodium for Alzheimer's disease. Lifestyle 🏊♀️ 🧘♀️ 🏃♀️💪🏻🚴🥗💧🍷🧂🍫👍 (long post alert - get a cuppa tea ☕️)
Lots of people ask about lifestyle & what has made a difference to ‘me’. Emphasis on me because everyone is so different. That said everyone should live as healthy as is possible, respecting ability, illness, and other limits people have. A 2 hr walk to me might be 10 minutes is all someone can manage
