New member, but not new to RA
Hiya, My name is Evy and I am a 41 year old woman who lives in Belgium with her 2 cats. I am a member of some running communities here on HealthUnlocked and thought to join this group too. I have been diagnosed with RA early 2013, when I was 32 years old, after struggling with pains in hands and feet

Diagnosing a Heart Attack
I have just had the symptoms of a heart attack. Chest pain but not severe mostly pressure on my chest then going up my neck, jaw and into my mouth . This lasted around 15 minutes and I tended to ignore it. I went to bed and in the night had heavy pressure on my chest and I took 2 painkillers and went

Undiagnosed, but does anyone suffer from shoulder pain along with abdo pain?
I’ve heard of ectopic pregnancies causing
shoulder
pain
- can the same be said for endo? I’m currently having
pain
in my abdomen on the same side as the
shoulder
pain
, though this abdomen pain is relatively new - I’ve only ever had right hand pain up until a month or so ago.

Hysterectomy 3 weeks ago
Hi all, I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy, removal of everything and extensive endometriosis nearly 3 weeks ago now. My stomach is still so very sore and swollen. I’m still taking painkillers, but I was just wondering whether anyone else who may have had this done has experienced the same? Thanks

Follicles at baseline ultrasound
Hi everyone, We’ve been ttc naturally for the past 10 years. Always just assumed it would happen when the time was right. Starting ivf this month. I’m on day four of menopur and puregon injections. Feeling a bit bloated and twingy in the abdomen area hoping this is good news! My question is how many

Treating Endo overseas
Hi I’m getting very upset with the waiting times. It’s been almost 2 years since i first asked my gp for help and up until now I haven’t seen a gynae and even didn’t get any decent painkillers. I had ultrasound which didn’t show anything even though I have a consistent pain in the around left ovary.

Apixiban and joint pain, is there a link?
Does anyone else have worsening or new joint pain since being on apixiban? I started in January and so stopped anti inflammatory drugs but this is debilitating pain and in joints other than those I took painkillers for. I would welcome advice. Side effects speak of bleeding and rash, can’t find anything

Pain after surgery
Hello all, I’ve recently had my laparoscopy at the beginning of March 2022, I’ve been diagnosed with widespread endometriosis. I’ve been in agony again and went to A&E at the end of March, the pain I was experiencing was the usually pain felt before the surgery. The keyhole insertions healed completely

More on bone pain
I realize there was a discussion on bone pain a few days ago but can’t find it. My apologies. I have unrelenting, often intolerable bone pain that has ruined my life. I have been chalking it up to vitamin D deficiency. I am vitamin D resistant and treatment is not raising my D level. I do not tolerate
