I’m beginning to wonder if it’s related. Every few months I’ll get a painful left shoulder. It hurts to move it at certain angles. It comes and goes without any reason (eg no heavy lifting, no strain, it just happens). At its worst it can make changing gears in my car painful.
I’ve heard of ectopic pregnancies causing shoulder pain - can the same be said for endo? I’m currently having pain in my abdomen on the same side as the shoulder pain, though this abdomen pain is relatively new - I’ve only ever had right hand pain up until a month or so ago.
Currently waiting on hospital appointment.
Thanks all 😊

I don't have this but it is a well. known indicator of diaphramic endometriosis. YOu would nedd a lap to get it chckedout it is one type that doesnt show upmuch on MRI.
I've had a really painful right shoulder for the last month or so and thought it might be connected to endo. Dr just ignored me when I asked about it, but I thought it might be explained by results from my recent MRI. I had heard that it might be diaphragm endo causing it, weirdly but now it sounds like it won't show up on pelvic MRI, though that makes sense. It's worse when I reach or when I throw something with that arm and when it's really bad the arm goes numb and weak, which makes me think it's nerve-related.
Hello! I experience shoulder aches with my endo. When this happens usually my upper back starts to get achey as well. So i def think you could be experiencing it as a symptom.
