Pain Medication Question
Any advice for pain medication. Husband is on hospice and bedridden. Leg muscles have atrophied. He experiences pain when he is moved by caregiver. Morphine and tramadol are too strong and suppress the appetite. He has already lost a lot of weight and can't afford to lose more. He is willing to

Any NICE guidelines?
Can anyone share UK treatment guidelines for psoriatic arthritis that doctors use? All I find when I look online at the NICE website is the guidelines for psoriasis which are no help. I want to know at what stage I should get more than painkillers (currently on etoricoxib as needed which does help and

On my final week of slow taper 1mg to 1/2mg then I am going to do another 5weeks to get me from half to zero.Last Tuesday I woke up fine but by mid morning I started with what felt like a trapped nerve pain in my neck. was it the wrong time to take myself off ibandronic acid?
In the mean-time, I have had long-term neck and
shoulder
pain
, more recently affecting the nerves in the arm and
shoulder
and was sent for an MRI scan two weeks ago and awaiting results. I have also been given exercises from a physiotherapist, although I am not sure it is helping much.

Does anyone take pantoprazole with MtX?
During this weekend I have had a bad pain in my esophagus. I get that from time to time, probably due reflux caused by the prednisolone and PMR, as it is worse during a flare. I usually take pantoprazole a couple of days and it heals up fast (doctor's prescription). However - now I am on MtX since

Newly diagnosed and shoulder pain
However, about 2-3 weeks ago, I started having
pain
in my right
shoulder
. Deep Heat won't ease it. A google seach has shown that
shoulder
pain
can be CLL-related. Has anyone else experienced
shoulder
pain
with CLL? Thanks, SAT_poet

Tylenol 3 with Codeine…I need a substitute…Help
I’m stage 3b and maintaining. I just had foot surgery this morning. My orthopedic surgeon consulted with my nephrologist and decided Tylenol 3 with Codeine would be best to start . If that didn’t work I could take low dose Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-325mg. The Tylenol 3 is making me vomit, but

From menopur only to combo stims (menopur & gonal-f) - aged 42
Hi ladies, I'm starting another round and wondered if anyone has had luck on both menopur and gonal-f? For my previous 4 cycles I've only been on menopur. This new Dr said I have many follicles at baseline however not enough eggs retrieved and that with extra FSH from gonal-f I may get more eggs. [b

I could have PMR…
I got better and had no further PMR symptoms. 4 weeks ago I started to get
shoulder
pain
again. Mostly located on the left side, it came out of nowhere and I just seemed to wake up with it. No other symptoms. It didn’t really go away so I went to see my osteopath for treatment.

Early signs of ovarian torsion?
Hi all, I’ve had a large endometrioma (around 11cm) for about a year now and am on the waiting list for surgery. On my period now and was in a lot of pain, which is common for my periods. But the pain has felt different - rather than feeling it all over my abdomen, I’ve just felt it in my lower right

Pain in my left arm
Have had pain in my left arm for three days thought it was muscle pain been in a draught or something. Tried ralgex spray which usually works, has made no difference at all, and pain killers not doing much either us bad enough to keep me awake, only way to help with the pain is to lie on my arm, am worried

Oar Gel and gold placements for beginners on this journey
I am a beginner on this PC journey but feel fortunate that I caught my cancer before it had spread beyond the prostate. I caught sepsis from my directed transrectal biopsy and spent a lovely few days in ICU flirting with the nurses and trying not to mess up the bed and floor too much. I have 9 weeks

***HELP NEEDED DESPERATELY*** My precious daughter was unfortunately diagnosed with Multiple Hepatic Adenomas in November 2021. She has currently got 12 of these tumours in her liver. Hi, I’m a first time poster and honestly not sure if this is the right forum. PMR shoulder pain?
I’m wondering if anyone else’s
shoulder
pain
is worse in the evening. When first diagnosed I had the classic morning symptoms. As I also have inflammatory arthritis, scoliosis and spinal stenosis I am finding it difficult (as are the doctors) to match the symptoms to the conditions.
