My doctor told me injections less than 10 weeks apart can be dangerous!
It took a good while to get my PA diagnosis (I was tested for heart problems, diagnosed with high blood pressure,
asthma
& told my
severe
headaches, memory & hair loss & clumsiness were menopause).

Hi. I had, what felt like a serve asthma attack today. I'm pretty sure it was caused by stomach acid. Hi all. Really this is more about my asthma I think. But we will see. I am 55yr s old male. About 6 years ago after a major cold I started to need a puff of ventolin here and there , given by the GP but no steroid. This was ok for a while but I gradually needed more and more. After a while I went back

Shortness of breath
I have been diagnosed with GERD & have been short of breath lately...I was wondering if it was possible for GERD to cause asthma. I never had asthma or have been diagnosed with it before.

Stoma Bag and stage 4
Just had my results from mri and been told I need my bowel to be corrected as it moved to the right side of my body and that it can potentially start to leak through my liver. So will need to have one small op for the cyst in the ovary and uterus. Then get a stoma bag fitted in till my bowel is corrected

Colitis or chrones?
Currently being tested to see if I have colitis or chrones because they aren’t sure if it’s IBS. I’m really worried because I have read it could lead to having a stoma bag, wondering the likeliness of this outcome?

Colon Cancer Warning
Hi everyone. I wanted to give a quick reminder on the importance of getting your scheduled check ups and colonoscopies after your bowel diseases go into remission. My 65 year old father had a deadly bout with ulcerative colitis 30 years ago. He beat it and has been the picture of health for the most

Physiotherapy and Asthma
I was at a conference at Portsmouth University. There was an asthma consultant there who spoke on drugs. I commented on the tight rib muscles and tight lower muscles I had seen in asthma sufferers. The asthma consultant said that he sent some asthma sufferers for breathing physiotherapy. This improved

Asthma Succes stories
Hi. I very much would like to hear some succes stories. Anyone, who has any to share? By success stories, I mean, many years without symptoms, or a very controlled asthma. Maybe even going through a longer periode without using an emergency inhaler or even inhaler in general. Would love to hear about

Does anyone’s asthma get triggered from laughing?
Hi my asthma is chronic but I’m on preventers, puffers and occasional steroids. Always tight in cheesy and coughing but not a major wheeze. However if I laugh too much it triggers my asthma and I start wheezing. Does this happen to anyone else?

Flare up
Hi guys. So luckily my asthma has been well managed for that past 10 years. Only had a reliever and that was a Bricanyl. Last year I had a flare up when they changed me from Bricanyl to Salamol and had to put me back on a preventative (clenil). That didn’t work so they put me on the Fostsir 100/6. All

I’m new here, does anyone else have asthma? How does it affect your running?
Hi all, I’m 22 and I have mild asthma. It was bad when I was a child then absolutely fine until I got pregnant and couldn’t take my hay fever tablets. My awful hay fever triggered an asthma attack and now I have a reliever inhaler which I never really need to use unless I have bad allergies or if I’m
