Shortness of breath

I have been diagnosed with GERD & have been short of breath lately...I was wondering if it was possible for GERD to cause asthma. I never had asthma or have been diagnosed with it before.

I have read a lot on this site about “leaky gut” & how this condition allows many things that otherwise would not, to get into one’s system causing various problems.

My companion had acid problems & I could hear his breath on walks. It turned out however some lab values in his complete blood count (with differential) were off. So many things can effect these lab values. If your labs are not current, it is something to consider checking.

It is said allergies one had as a child can subside in middle age, then return later on in old age.

Should you be a smoker, your body is telling you to stop. Take care & good luck figure your situation out.
