Do you have asthma or a lung condition? Have you changed to a lower-carbon inhaler and found it works well for you?
As part of a piece of funded work Asthma + Lung UK are doing with NHSE on lower-carbon inhalers, we’re creating a short storyteller video, featuring someone who has had a positive experience of changing to a dry powder or soft mist inhaler. If you’re not sure what inhaler you have, you can find out here

silent reflux?
I have PAF and in the last year my life long
asthma
has deteriorated to now be
severe
. I was very ill over the winter with 3.5 months off work and in A&E five times. Five courses of oral steroids and six lots of antibiotics. One episode of AF triggered by coming off the steroids I think.

Azithromycin vs Tezpire/tezepelumab
After waiting for months, I have been seen by a consultant who confirmed that I have
severe
non-eosinophilic, non-inflammatory
asthma
. And has given me the option of adding Azithromycin to my regimen or trying Tespire/tezepelumab.

1st recurrence
I had my first recurrence after 4.5 years. It was a shock as I thought I was going to be ok. Two tumours appeared in the pelvic area. The surgeon did her best and managed to remove both tumours. But I had to have a bowel resection as well. For that I had to have an ilestoma for six weeks. That was very

Peak Flow doesn't always drop despite being symptomatic.
I have an appointment coming up next month with the
Severe
Asthma
Team where I feel I should mention this again. I've mentioned it in the past and my consultant said peak flow always drops during an asthma attack.

tapering off steroids
Hello I'm currently tapering off 5mg Prednisolone, initiated a few years ago when I had Covid which was triggering my
severe
asthma
. I don't need it anymore for that reason except I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency a few years ago.

How do you know?
I really want a medical professional to explain to me how they know I have asthma.I was diagnosed at 2 years old, after I suddenly stopped breathing after a cold. I know I was tested (negative, fortunately) for other things such as Cystic Fibrosis and there's a part of me which wonders whether the doctors

grade 5 reflux with a neurogenic bladder
my son (now 8 months old) was diagnosed with a grade 5 reflux along with a neurogenic bladder post his mcu and cystoscopy which were performed when he was almost a month old, after a life threatening episode of sepsis. The reflux situation caused urine to build up in the kidneys, so much so that one

Asthma, GERD, confusion
I'm looking for some support and information. Generally my asthma is ok controlled with forstair. But for the last few weeks I've had constant feelings of needing to clear my throat a burning sensation that comes from no where In my throat and I'm up all night coughing. Its not a productive cough-

Can I opt for a removal of colon stump?
Now that I have a colostomy, I actually love it! Two years ago, I had a rectal prolapse. Doctor removed about a foot of my colon and I was left incontinent. Then, it prolapsed again and was sent to another doctor who fixed the prolapse through laparoscopy. I was still incontinent. I actually had
