After seeing GP

Went to see GP this morning about swollen abdomen. Internal examination (yuk) arranging an ultra sound, urine sample given and bloods taken to test CA125. So at least he took me seriously after explaining other symptoms.

Good luck with the results Horizon12. I would be reassured by the thoroughness that your doctor has shown.

It makes me wonder if I accept too many symptoms under the umbrella of PMR as being part of it rather than a separate disorder.

Too easy, we can all have something else going on & it could get overlooked!

I think it can be too easy for GP’s to blame everything on PMR or my newly retired GP’s Case ‘it’s the steroids’ he blamed them for everything!

Glad your GP is listening to you & getting some tests done.

Thank-you. The hardest part will be having a full bladder for an hour, I go at least twice an hour now. LOL
