Mystery symptoms after Depo injection!

I was on the Depo injection and stopped since August 2017.

Iv not had a period since then! The last 3/4 weeks Iv been having the strangest symptoms! My left boob has been really tender to touch, Iv been gassy, gained abit of weight, moody but pregnancy test is negative!

I went to the doctor & waiting on blood test results to see what happening there!

Has anybody found to be pregnant before through blood tests & negative urine tests?!?

Also, can you get preggers if you haven’t had a period after the Depo?!? Couldn’t even tell you if I have even obvulated 🙄

Hun anything is possible with us women and our bodies ! There’s been a few mums to be that have had negative urine and positive blood results so hopefully the gp can tell you what’s going on with your body or if your pregnant! Good luck xx

Firstly the depot is notorious for messing up periods when stopped can take months (up to a year) to get back in sync. The symptoms could be related to that.

But yes you can get pregnant without having a period if you're having unprotected sex... after 14 weeks the depot is considered not effective so always a chance to get pregnant

Negative bloods & normal hormones apparently but still symptoms 4 weeks on

I came off the depo I didn’t usually have periods while on it but started randomly bleeding/spotting so decided to stop it. I was off for about 3 months not using contraception (also not trying) and didn’t have a period. I then started the pill I wonder how long it would have taken me to start my cycles again. I often felt pregnant but wasn’t.
