Looks like our first IVF round is failing
Hi all! I’m new here but looking at some of your posts & replies, it looks like I’ve found a great space for any IVF worries & questions! This is our first round of IVF, after 4 failed & 2 cancelled IUI cycles. We transferred two embryos on 19th May and 7 days later I got some light bleeding. It was

A source for Thyroid S in UK
Good morning, Please could someone private message me as I am looking for a source for Thyroid S? I taken my NDT sublingual and Erfa is sweet which I do not like. So I wanted to try Thyroid S and I vaguely remember trying it before before I Switched to T3 only. Thank you

Subchronic hematoma
I thought I would share my recent scan results for anyone with a SCH. At my 6 wk viability scan, a small SCH was shown on scan and I was told to have a follow up scan 1-2 weeks later. Good news is it had gone yesterday at 8w1d. She said they are very very common in IVF, especially when on progesterone

BFN with Donor Eggs - what now?
I've never had a positive result, so I'm a bit numb about the BFN - this was my 5th transfer. 2nd with a donor egg. I'm trying to work out what to do next, as I have no embryos left so I'll be starting from scratch. I think I need a clinic in the UK who can help investigate implantation issues,

Blood results?
Hi, Please could anyone give me an idea what has happened recently to my blood results, before I speak to a GP who has no idea what Armour or Nature-Throid is. Since Dr. Skinner passed away I have been on my own self medicating. Have blood tests yearly at my surgery. Its all been ok for the last 15yrs

Bleed at 8+2 - Update: Hematoma around gestational sac
Hi ladies, I’m 8+2 today. I had a scan on 7+3 which showed a lovely embryo measuring spot on and with strong and clear heartbeat. I had another scan yesterday (this time I allowed my husband to attend, I was too scared before) and again it was measuring well and looked line a mini human with head, arms

Adenomyosis and endometriosis doubling progesterone pill
Yesterday I was diagnosed with adenomyosis on a scan and probably endometriosis. Initial options are the coil or doubling my progesterone pill. I’ve doubled and feel awful! Upset stomach and nausea, can’t be a coincidence? Does anyone have any experience with the coil that’s positive? I’m at a loss

Please can you advise me on my calculations to switch NDT to Levo
If I currently take NDT 1 grain in split doses 7.30am and 3.30pm , do I take 100 mcg of Levo in one dose or split it? and do I also need to add 5 - 10 mcg of T3 to match the NDT content in 1 grain? Is a switch over done immediately like for like? Or do I have to leave a day for the NDT's T3 content

I'm new here - Utrogestan/Mirena query
I have been using the Mirena coil for PMS and for the progesterone part of HRT since June last year, and want to have it removed due to hair loss, but am worried about taking Utrogestan as taking it two weeks a month could re-start the cycle of depression/mood swings that I was trying to resolve by having

Long term hypothyroidism cause damage?
Hi all, I’ve been posting a lot on here recently, I hope I’m not irritating anyone! I have a Q about long term damage from hypothyroidism. I developed hypothyroidism at 13, I am now 31. My initial symptoms were severe fatigue, bad depression and extreme anxiety and panic attacks. I was heavily medicated

NDT and vitamin recommendations
After 20 years of Hashimotos I've had enough of GP's and Levothyroxine. I went to a private clinic and no suprise - I am very low on T3. She has prescribed slow release T3 5mcg but (maybe impatient) I feel no better. I've just discovered this site and read about NDT. Sounds like a better plan.

NDT multiple, tiny doses
What do you weathered NDT/T3 takers think about taking tiny doses of NDT at very regular intervals, eg. 1/4 grain every hour. update: I tried doing this this morning and I still haven’t managed to get out of bed.

Blood test results on NDT
Hi All, I've just had some blood tests and I'm unsure whether to change my dose or not. I'm currently on 1 3/4 grains of Armour. My results are: TSH: 0.31 (0.27-4.2) T3: 4.05 (3.1-6.8) T4: 9.6 (12-22) Overall, I feel ok. I tend to hit a wall mid afternoon (when my meds are due), but I tend to perk

G-CSF - anyone tried it?
Hi, I'm just back from Cyprus and am now on day 4 of the 2 week wait. For anyone who doesn't know, North Cyprus do a lot of experimental treatments, a lot of which you can't get in the UK. I came out here to do cytoplasmic transfer back in February. The first transfer didn't work and this is my second

new NDT?
Anyone have any details about a new NDT being offered to some as a free trial ? It’s been mentioned on another site.
