It’s around this time that im due to ovulate, however i had brown spotting this morning which I don’t normally get during ovulation at all.
So I assumed period was coming but I’ve had absolutely nothing since.
Has anyone else cycles been a bit odd after failed IVF? I had my period as normal, after coming off progesterone pessaries, wasnt any different than usual but the spotting for me around this time is odd, or if period is coming, would mean it’s 2 weeks early?

Hi Mlove12 sorry your IVF round didn't work this time. My cycles have always been a little messed up after a failed cycle. When I quired it with my clinic they said its due to all meds we have to take and some people go back to a normal cycle straight away others it can take around 3 months for your periods to go back to normal. X
Hi Mlove. I have experienced odd cycles after failed IVF, on more than one occasion unfortunately. In fact I am going through something right now, my withdrawal bleed after a cancelled cycle came on time but heavier than normal but the one after that has been bizarre and it is making me very uneasy. It can take time for the body to get back to its usual ways after treatment. You can always phone your clinic to raise concerns, they may be able to reassure you. Xx
Hi Mlove. It can take a while for your cycle to return to what is normal to you. Spotting can be an indication that your womb lining is not building up properly,, or even infetion. Good luck! Diane
