All 3 eggs fertilised, now a progesterone question please!

Hi everyone, pleased and relieved to report that our 3 eggs we collected yesterday that were all mature have been fertilised and all 3 came back as fertilised Whaoooo! So now we won’t be doing a 3 day transfer and they are seeing them all through to blast, praying we get one to blast stage 🤞🏼 I wanted to ask if you have had your progesterone levels checked before transfer? I had mine done mid way through a cycle last time but I’m thinking of getting them done the day before my transfer so that I’ve been on my Cyclogest for 4 days to see if it’s at the right level for transfer. I’m on 400 Cyclogest in the morning and 400 Cyclogest in the evening now, then from day of transfer they add into the mix the addition of Lubion too. So I’m sure it’s fine but for my own piece of mind wondering if it’s worth getting the bloods done for it? Or am I over doing it now 😂

My clinic usually had me check it as routine the day after, and then again if I got a BFP. I think it's worth doing for your peace of mind.

Thanks! Fingers crossed! I’ve booked in for the blood test Friday before transfer Saturday as think it’s will give us peace of mind x

And you are definitely not overdoing it regarding the progesterone. Im a progesterone crazy and I believe it needs to be checked before transfer and right after a BFP and to be monitored closely if needed 🙈🙈🙈 Thats my olaolan with my FET too 😅😅😅

I had my progesterone checked the day of each transfer. Their thought being that they don’t implant immediately so there us time to up it if needed.

I have been on 3x cyclogest and 2x lubion for FETs before so it is important to check

no it’s changed each time but actually has got progressively higher… so my body clearly needs more xx

Hi PrincessGurn. Lovely news. Here's hoping fertilisation goes super well. Lots of clinics do a test before the extra progesterone, so maybe have it done, then you won't worry. Diane

I always had the progesterone checked the day before transfer, that way if its low it can be upped on transfer day!
