Tinnitus and dizziness
I've just been prescribed
serc
-
16
(betahistine dihydrochloride) for dizziness and tinnitus. When I collected my prescription today my pharmacist suggested I try eating beetroot which has the effect of opening the blood vessels.

If serc works for dizziness does that mean I do have bppv?
Or could it help inner ears that have become hypersensitive due to stress?

Does anyone get head spins when lying down.
I don't know if I am tripping myself out, but I get head spins only when I am thinking about getting them. Because I am scared of the one time I randomly got one. Last night I lied down with my head to the right and I felt like I was spinning. In between, I just feel off-balance all day. But at the same

Severe ear pain and tinnitus that is driving me crazy. anyone had this or having this? so desperate. I feel so isolated
Hi Guys, I been having infections and mucous in my left ear for quite some time. I was on antibiotics, painkillers and serc (for vertigo). Finally it went away and we went on holiday and had a great time. The flight back was very turbulent and I was sick for a few days after (same as feeling car sick

So now I have a submission put together from my support organisation SERC. In Salford and I found out through them that my consultant has changed, yet another miss information problem I am having with my GP at the moment. Think this is the last straw and so have begun a complaints procedure, believe

Vestibular Migraine - Can anyone relate to these symptoms?
Hello There I am new to this site. I have a few diagnoses but have had vestibular migraine added to them and would be really interested to see if anyone can relate to my symptoms as I am so desperate to find something that helps. I am constantly dizzy but its not vertigo but a constant swaying feeling

Hi all, I am writing this in the hope that some of you lovely people out there will be able to help me help my son. He is now 32 and has suffered with varying degree/episodes of eczema all his life. For the last 3/4 years now he has developed Intolerances to certain foods -some quite severe although

DIFFERENT PAIN
Hi, Sisters of endo, those that know me are aware that I have a history of pelvic, hip and back pain due to frequent ovarian cysts, endometriosis and various other non related dilemmas. But just yesterday the pain changed to a piercing sensation on my left side low in my inguinal area and gets more intense

Are these vestibular migraines?
I've suffered with vertigo for about nine years. For the first five years it was intermittent, happening maybe 2-5 times a year, for short periods of time. On a scale of 1-10 I would say it was at an 8-9. It would always be upon waking up, and was the only symptom. Would only be present when standing

I was taking serc for some time. A new doctor changed the medication to flunarizine. The dizzzyness got more permanent. Is this typical?
