I started taking heparin literally straight away this time then aspirin and so far no bleeding. Come on little

Starting heparin and warfarin tomorrow - what can I expect?
After a stroke 8 years ago and several years of feeling increasingly I'll I've finally had SLE with secondary APS and Reynaulds confirmed. Bloods done in June and repeated in September showed increasing evidence. Finally got to see a haematologist last Friday (still waiting for appt at St Thomas') and

HS and surgery: no medication? I'm worried...
Hello everyone. Did anyone ever had an operation while diagnosed HS? Did you get medication like heparin or aspirin? I am Dutch and curious about how this works in your country. Because i'm worried about a surgery next week. In 2008 I was diagnosed with HS (because of a stillbirth). I've never had a

PCP Pneumonia prophylaxis choice.
She had haemolytic reactions to iv
septrin
(co-trimoxozle) which caused lots of problems but the consultant wants to put her back on it as a three times a week oral prophylaxis while closely monitoring blood tests.

Anyone have a negative APS test at start of pregnancy and gone on to test positive mid/later pregnancy?
Come across someone on an unrelated forum who has lost a baby due to APS. A family member died of APS related condition and so she was tested -first test positive, second test negative - her consultant said a false positive. Wasn't treated, went on to lose baby - then test positive for APS again. (This

Is it safe to stop aspirin before birth in week 35 with positive APS antibodies?
Hello. I´m very worried to stop taking aspirin 75 mg in week 36 of pregnancy before birth and continue only on low molecular heparin. I do read different stories and options with APS syndrom treatment. I do take aspirin and LM heparin from beginig of pregnancy... i did have couple of early losses before

Even though all the antibody tests are not yet in, I have had a copy of a really helpful letter from the dr I saw at St T's. One of the many things she suggests is that I lower my target INR range from 3-4 as I have no actual evidence of TIA. This makes sense to me as I know at a high range I am at high

Have decided to start recording and writing my struggle either to look for positive stories or help others if I am successful.
Hi everyone, I shared a bit of my story a few months back, then left the site (due to severe health anxiety) and have now rejoined and generally feeling stronger. My story is as follows. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for 3 years - I am overweight and put it down to that (as did my doctor
