Hi, Anyone out there got success stories after multiple ivf failures? On 2 week wait test on fri, but had spotting and bad cramps yet again.

This will be my 10th time 2 fresh and 8 frozen transfers.Had 4 positive(1 twins even got heartbeat on early scan) 2 chemical pregnancys. Just cant get past 7 weeks. Had tests all normal no one can explain why? Had a hysteroscopy few months ago before this transfer and and my womb etc all perfectly normal too. On 75mg asprin and heparin injections as well this time. Having to use ivf as no tubes was pregnant naturally at 23 went fine to 20wk scan baby had anencephaly so was advised to terminate as would die inside me or live just few hours so ended pregnancy. Gave birth naturally on drugs nurses sent me home about 30 mins after giving birth I was still out of it on the drugs and was sick several times in the corridor on the way out I take it they needed the bed for someone else or maybe this is normal?. After that never felt right bleed for over 2 months told normal by doc felt very run down too,but docs kept sending me away saying I was fine keep trying! so no follow up tests etc to see if ok I think I had infection which is what severly damaged my tubes. Doc said to come back after year of trying but got sent away again! It was a year and half before a doctor did tests for me and only got blood test did as by that time too late as had an ectopic which had burst the tube and I was internally bleeding from it lucky to be alive! Had operation to remove the tube the other tube was severly damaged sitting behind my womb and blocked and scarred,surgeon put it back in right place and cleaned, but no joy had removed year later. So started the ivf route to try to make my dreams come true of becoming a mum! I'm 32 at the moment thinking that maybe my embryo's are all abnormal and that's why it's not working? any success stories help or advice would be great xx

My friend is currently 31 weeks pregnant with twins after her 9th attempt at IVF, so it is possible, but it is very hard to keep going.

You've gone through a tough time at the beginning of this journey, which must be very hard for you.

I'm also pregnant following fertility treatment, we struggled in that I didn't respond well to the stimulation, so following medical advice, we decided to use donor eggs as the quality of my eggs was not good enough, which took a long process to make that decision, accept things and decide that was the right route for us.

Hi babsy123. I am so amazed for someone to be as young as you are, to have experienced so much heartbreak and disappointment. To crown it all, you are keeping strong enough to continue with IVF treatment again, and I do hope that it all works out successfully for you. The spotting and cramps you are experiencing could be down to the trauma of egg collection and is common. If is bright red spotting, then you would be best to rest as much as you can. Dark red/brownish blood is usually “old” blood and should not be a worry. You are an amazing person and I am keeping everything crossed for you both. Kind regards Diane

Hi babsy123. Well, there you go! Fab news! Make sure you get as much rest as you can for now and drink plenty. Keep up with the progesterone if you have been prescribed it, until told to stop - this could be up to 12/40wks. All the best with your ongoing pregnancy. Kindest regards. Diane

Although I got a positive on Friday 20th, been having severe pains and bright red spotting since sunday. Feels like i'm going to have another miscarriage any moment. I can't understand why I keep miscarrying? I did get 2 frozen blastocyst's transferred so praying that maybe just losing the one and the other will be ok? that's if they both implanted. Still got 1 full cycle left before I give up, if this one fails can only but try again as hard as it is. Babs
