Aged 90. Complex Partial
My mum is 90 and in Jan had her first complex partial seizure. She is on Keppra. She goes absent, smacks her lips and constantly wants to pee. Most recent lasted 18 hours. Not unusual. Should I inform her doctor every time she has a seizure? She has just been referred to a neurologist. I can find nothing

Itchy
I'm taking sertraline, keppra and lamotrigine for my epilepsy and pain and depression. However now I'm finding my whole body is itchy and driving me crazy, I am making myself bleed because the itching is so strong and I am raking at my body. I actually got out of bed at 3 am and used my partners dermo

Double dose of Keppra
Hi there has anybody ever taken their medication twice in the morning by mistake? I think I may have done this yesterday. I had 3 very strong auras which I haven't had for some time. I was also very tired and had been overdoing it, not getting enough sleep and working too hard etc. This is the first

Facial Twitching
Hi, can any one put my mind at rest please? I'm probably being silly but I keep getting twitches on the right side of my face, around about the cheek bone. Saying that, I've only had one today but some times they are quite frequent. It has just started recently - my eye started twitching and it seems

Advice to stop seizures.
Looking for any tips or advice on how else i can reduce seizures other than meds. Basically, I have had epilepsy for about 11 years. My main seizure type is partial seizures. I have had a significant reduction in seizures over the years since increasing meds etc. The ONLY time I have a seizure now is

FCR Cycle 4 (For CLL) - Itchy Rash
Hello all CLL enthusiasts. I have just finished cycle 4 of my 6 cycle FCR treatment after being on 8-9 years W&W. I am on the FLAIR trial, but got randomly sorted into the current treatment. In hindsight I am not too disappointed as FCR is the current gold standard treatment, it hasn't been too bad to

Hi
Well they said add a photo to bring the post to life. My husband took this after I was meant to be running 5K to raise money for Epilepsy Research this year. I ended up at the wrong venue (don't ask) and as most of my sponsors just wanted to see me covered in paint for a lark - I organised a video

Just in need of moral support
I was diagnosed with epilepsy after having my son 3 years ago. I had eclampsia with my son and had a seizure during labour. I then had another seizure 7 weeks later and was put into Epilim. I was then changed from that due to side effects to Keppra. I was steady on that for a year and then in January

Hi first post to this site though I've read others and it doesn't appear that any post is seen as trivial. I was diagnose with nhl about 13 years ago which was later classified as cll. After initial chlorambucil treatment I was on w and w until last year when my white cell and neutrophils count were
