Is this as good as it gets?
Hello all, thank you for allowing me to join your little group. I've been reading past posts and I'm wondering if you all can give me some insight. Although I have had positive blood work for ACL since 2012, I was just diagnosed with APS following a TIA in April. Prior to that, I had only had non-diagnostic

Should we try and adjust meds?
My 3 year old is on keppra. Has been for 4 months. His seizures are under control which is great. We has some lousy side effects for 2 months. Now he gets tired, needs a buggy more than normal and feels a bit off a few times a week. But most people would never notice these things. occasionally he says

Ketogenic Diet
Hi everyone, I’ve got temporal lobe epilepsy, which started a couple of years ago. I have been recommended by a friend that a low-card/sugar and high in fat diet (Ketogenic) and potentially some homeopathic remedies (Vertigoheel) could help me control my seizures. Has anyone had any experience of this

Rattling
Pharyngitis. I'd never heard of it until yesterday. But now I've got it, with inflamed tonsils. Deep joy. My voice is now nothing more than a strained whisper and I'm not leaving my bed today. Soooo... I'm now taking 8 penicillin tablets a day to attack my throat like a unit of green berets on a mission

Septrin 80mg/400mg
Dear all. I've been on Septrin since June as CD4 is low which I completely understand. Does anyone know if Septrin cause change of Skin colour (make the skin darker). I was told that some antibiotics may cause skin issues but having read the leaflets there is mentioning abiut skin related issues.

The diagnosis IBS is nonsensicle
My docs were uncooperative so I put myself on antibiotics for one month (2 weeks of doxycycline and 2 weeks of
Septra
) and two months out of this I am steadily improving. I must still be careful what I eat, but I think my gut is recovering from years of this infection.

Hello I've had epilepsy since I was about 12 years old and it was controlled with Lamictal not lamotrigne. However 4 months ago I had a twenty/thirty minute absence so went to see a neurologist. Initially we increased lamictal but I ended up poisoning myself so had to reduce the dosage back to the original

Side effects of Keppra
I have been on Keppra nearly a year now and my dosage has been creeping up, since last week to 3 x1000mg the worst I have ever felt. So contacted my neurologist who has told me to go back to 2 x1000mg a day has anybody else had strange reactions to this med. Mine actually really started about over

Memory has got a bit better in some ways at least remembering what he ate in the morning but still saying
