Recent blood results. May I have your thoughts please
I was diagnosed Hashimoto's and take Metavive as prescribed by Dr P; it's whole bovine thyroid gland. Should I switch from Levothyroxine to NDT?
Hi. I have hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's) and have been taking Levothyroxine for one year and 3 months. My dose is 50 mcg for 5 days per week and 75 mcg twice a week. I seem to be very sensitive to Levothyroxine. I lose a lot - and I mean A LOT - of hair when I am taking even 25 mcg a week more than

Selenium Deficiency: possible relationship to, Immune system, Digestion, Crohns, Hair loss, Infertility, Weight gain, Fatigue...etc
Looking for something in the cupboard yesterday I came across my opened packet of Brasil Nuts... And I thought, ah ha... SELENIUM! Just 2 to 3 nuts per day as I recall, is the required daily amount...ingesting the food containing the selenium is always better than taking the supplement of course. During

Shoes that help???
I have found over the past few weeks that my legs ache more than usual. I had a partial knee replacement 14 weeks ago but have recovered remarkably well so I can't see how it can be that (especially as it effects both legs). I can walk 3 or so miles a day but my legs ache terribly afterward, specifically

VITAMINS
Hi, and thanks to everyone who responded to my recent post re my Test Results. I'm trying to order the necessary vitamins and wondered if you could spare a minute to check whether I'm heading in the right direction. Obviously these have been recommendations - but still confusing to us newbies

Taking mineral supplements.
Any advice on taking supplements please have seen a super minerals supplement from Holland and Barrett which gives all needed minerals including magnesium and selenium which I believe you need to help your thyroid to function optimally. Also should I buy a vitamin B12 supplement as doctor has prescribed

Latest results - any suggestions?
Hello - I've just got my latest results back from Medichecks. I've been taking NDT (2 grains daily) from Thailand since last summer as my GP refused to increase my Levo from 50mcg after several months of starting on it. I tried asking #2 GP (there are 3 in the practice) for a Levo increase but she refused

Need input on ADT, Brachytherapy, etc.
Hi folks. I have a diagnosis of 3+4 with PSA of 21. I am on the fence and cannot decide which treatment to get. My doctor wants me to get the ADT (hormone therapy) to shrink the prostate so we can then do Brachy "seeds'. My family wants me to get it out with surgery. I have locally spoken to 3-4 men
