I’ve had no internet for a while which has been a pain but it’s back 😁
I’ve been taking basic bcomplex and then selenium for a while now and am ready to add magnesium... the two I think I need are theonate for the brain & sleep then citrate for my constipation..is it ok to take two forms of magnesium?
My next question is which brand?

Hi, I use Better You magnesium flakes in a foot bath or in the bath, and their sensitive oil spray on other days. That gets around my absorption issues. It has made a huge difference to how I feel, and 2 other family members. I've only tried one form at a time (started with Epsom Salts, but didn't work as well and very drying on skin). I take two different forms of magnesim with no problems.
For constipation I use Natural Calm Orignal Magnesium Citrate powder. There are flavoured versions but I use the Original unflavoured as there's no nasty addivites. Dissolve in a small amount of warm water, add a little orange juice to make a pleasant little drink.
Start with a small amount and gradually increase. You'll soon know when you've reached your limit, if you go over you'll get very loose stools or diarrhoea so you drop back a bit. The beauty of the powder is that you are not limited to the fixed amount in a tablet, you take what you need.
