Plaquenil and pregnancy
Hi there! I recently read on an APS Facebook group that Plaquenil might improve pregnancy outcomes in women with APS. For those of you who've taken plaquenil to prevent miscarriage/pregnancy complications, did your family Doctor/high risk OB/rheumatologist/etc prescribe it? A little about me. I've had

Vaginal or Caesarean birth?
I'm 26 weeks pregnant with spastic diplegia. I can walk but my balance and co-ordination are poor and my gait isn't great. However, so far the pregnancy has been uncomplicated. Is there anybody here who has given birth and if so how? Has anyone done both? If you had a C-section was it because of CP or

Pain during intercourse
Hi. Since having a child 17 weeks ago via c section (2nd CS) I get a sharp pain with deep penetration. The pain is almost like a mass of pressure and it feels more in my bum. We have always enjoyed a healthy sex life and this is already spoiling things for us. Also sometimes get a pressure pain just

8 yrs later
Didn't think I'd be writing here again. I've been 8 years surgery free and nearly 8 months ago I gave birth to my beautiful second son. I was put on cerrelle as I had an emergency c section (my 3rd one). Previous to tiny human I had a mirena coil and found that was the only thing that helped me live

Prostap and weight gain
Hi ladies, I'm on a 3 month injection of prostap ( 2 months in) and have put on about 5lbs even though exercising and healthy eating. Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice? Does it get better once injection is finally out of the system or get worse if I have another injection? Thanks

Anticardiolipins false positive
Hello everyone, I had been tested for APS after pre eclampsia and death of my son. No history of miscarriage. The first test done 15 days after my c section was positive for anticardiolipins (48). They repeated the tests 4 months after, came back at 1.2 so strong negative. All other tests are negative

Prostap
Currently having prostap injections before surgery. Really struggling with flushes, memory loss and emotions. Can't have HRT as need to stop 8 weeks before surgery and hoping for a cancellation before scheduled surgery date (being recheduled for 2 months past original date) meaning I've got to have 2
