Short protocol
Hi everyone I had a failed round of ivf (long protocol) January this year and I've just seen the consultant today. He suggested doing a short protocol this time and we are due to start in October. He suggested this because even with a high Amh I only got 5 eggs (all fertilised but no embryos frozen)

Endometriosis in scar tissue
My GP thinks I have endometriosis is my c section scar after going for a scan thinking it was a hernia. I'm waiting to see a consultant and go from there. One of the questions I have is if the tissue is removed is that it then will the endometriosis have gone?? I've been told by my physiotherapist that

Biopsy results
Hello all, I got a call from my GI's office with the results of my liver biopsy. She said it confirmed the diagnosis of PBC, but that she believes I have an AIH overlap. She said it was not noted on the biopsy results, so the doctor was currently on the phone with the pathologist who read my biopsy

Hi there so I've been suffering with endometriosis for 2 and half years since i got sterilised. It got diagnosed in March this year and I had my tubes removed while they treated the endometriosis. I have since had the Mirena coil in may and had no relief of pain what so ever. I decided to go back on

A little advice please
We are in the middle of our second cycle after TTC for over 2 and a half years now. My sister in law is due to go in for a planned c-section today for her 3rd baby and I am torn whether to visit her. Half of me thinks that I should - he is my nephew and I won't allow what I'm going through to define

Frustrated
So been for another gynaecology appointment today. So within 18month after having my c section with my baby boy, I've had 2 ops, first was to remove endo and adhesions, they inserted the merina but it came back with twice as much pain and the merina made me so irregular so was removed...the second op

Esmya
I've been prescribed esmya for fibroids. What can I expect? I've already had embolisation, tried prostap with HRT and now giving this a shot.

Recovering from TAC surgery
Hi all I had a TAC fitted on Tuesday - a transabdominal cerclage - which is the highest up stitch you can have to try and help avoid miscarriage. It is so high that it is done through the abdominal like a c section, then the stitch is put in around the very top of the cervix. I've needed this done as

I'm new here
I am 35 and have a 7 year old son. My husband and I have been trying for a second child for 4 years and have had no luck. I became pregnant within 3 months of us trying for our first, so am really struggling. I have a c-section and infection having my son, but I have had every blood and hormone test

I hate to be a bother, but I am so scared (normally I am not such a baby)
I've posted a couple of times about my upcoming Anterior Cervical Fusion C4-5 and C5-6. Thanks to many of you whom replied. I truly appreciate your feedback. As suggested I contacted my rheumy by email to ask about when I should stop taking my Sulphasalazine 500 mg 2x daily and recently started (two-three

Driving after giving birth
I'm just wondering if there are any rules about driving after giving birth? I know with c-section it's advised not to drive for 6 weeks & alot of insurance companies won't cover you during this time, but does anyone know about driving after a natural birth?
