Inflamed liver
Hi All, I haven't posted for a while, so I will try to explain how I feel generally. Had HA back in September & had a stent fitted. Most of the time I feel ok but every now & again I feel pretty awful, like I'm getting over Flu or a virus. My main symptons are tenderness in lower ribs & stomach ache

Is carvedilol making you cold?
I recently had my Carvedilol increased to 6.25mg twice a day. Lately, I am freezing to the bone. I turn my heating up and up and am still cold when everyone else says its like a sauna. I just wondered if anyone else has this? It could also be my recent addition of diabetes medication, Sitagliptin. Never

2 lead pacemaker to CRT PM
HiHad a 2 lead PM fitted 21 months ago following AV node ablation and since then I have developed heart failure and AF. Had three visits to heart failure clinic and been prescribed ramipril, bisoprolol and dapagliflozin. Cardiologist has stated a short term therapy of amiodarone may help get me back

Confused with Albumin Creatinine Ratio
I just got my UACR Report back . Ratio was 22 mg/g ( report says below 30 is normal ) but Urine spot Albumin is 3.4 mg/dl ( <1.9 mg/dl is normal ) . So which result to believe , The UACR one or the Albumin ? Should I get 24 Hours Albumin or is this enough ? I have foamy urine since the last 3 months

Feel shaky after breakfast
6 weeks ago had 3 stents fitted due to heart attack. All seems well other than weird feelings after breakfast and even one evening. Sort of bubbly inside and the evening one I was shaky on my feet so immediately sat down and ate a sweet as I feared low blood sugar felt fine soon after. I take Metformin

Why has my husband been given Candesartan when he hasn’t got high blood pressure . It must be for his stage 2 heart failure I presume .
My husband has been given this drug along with digoxin to add to his other meds , bisoprol , antorvaststin , Lansoprazole, edoxoban and dapagliflozin. He ll be rattling soon . He has been relatively stable . The ecg showed heart rate of 100 so I presume the cardiologist wants to lower it further . Is

Hello group I had an AF episode 177/min in June 2023. I went to AE no treatment it resolved on its own. I have been waiting for a cardiology appt. In Dec it happened again. I did not go to AE spoke to GP as I felt I had HF as very breathless. Asked for BNP blood test and echo. BNP over 2000. Jan 2024

blood pressure lower than usual
hi I posted a few weeks ago about my husband’s diagnosis of DCM. After two months, his entresto dose has been increased to 49/51 twice a day. bisoprolol remains at 1.25mg daily and empagliflozin at 10 mg daily. I am happy to say that he is feeling much more positive and doesn’t have any symptoms

husband just diagnosed with dilated catsiomyopathy
Hi my 51 year old his back has just been diagnosed with DCM. It would seem to be in a slightly milder form (I think). The only symptom he has displayed has been slight palpitations, feeling like a skipped heartbeat. His initial echo showed an EF of 38%. For the last few weeks he has been on entresto

Hi, Quick history, had HA 14 weeks ago & had a stent fitted. Since HA, my diet has changed only slightly as it was never too bad but snacking has stopped. I still eat as much as I did before etc. But my weight is still falling off, so far since HA, I lost 1 stone 9 lbs. I lose about 1-2 lbs a week

Empagliflozin
I have a 30yr transplant but my main problem now is heart failure. I had to come off Entresto as it had an adverse effect on my kidney function. Now prescribed 10mg Empagliflozin to hopefully help breathlessness. I am reluctant to start this after my previous experience. Would like to hear if anyone
