2016 when my life changed. I look back now and see that my life in a wierd form changed for the better following my heart attack at the age of 55. Since having the stent placed I realised how restricted my body had been and the relief this procedure had given me. I attended rehabilitation classes for the first 2 years after and continued to walk as often as possible and changed my diet/lifestyle completely.it was then I realised that my whole life became wholesome and enjoyable like never before. I am not completely out of the woods as I am diabetic type 2 and I still cannot resist the odd bar of chocolate. I have been taking metformin pills but recently the doctor introduced another pill that is quite a new one called dapagliflozin. It is causing palpitations of which is causing anxiety in me , the doctor is aware we are monitoring it. I've had an ECG all seems to be okay with the heart. Has anyone else noticed this? It seems to be effecting the quality of my life at the moment as I am focusing on how I feel rather than just getting on with it. I'm just not sure if it's the new pill (or that extra bar of chocolate) .
