Savlon

Otherwise, I sometimes get sore shaft skin right below the scar line where it rolls up and rubs, but a tiny dab of Savlon and air helps here. These are actually both minor issues I'm not really worried about (although I would have panicked in the early weeks).

I'm guessing it's just getting rubbed during the day, but nothing (Savlon, E45, Vaseline) stops it getting sore. Just wondering if others experienced this, if it passed, and if there were any ways people solved the soreness.

hi this isn’t a question but I suffered from molloscum for a nearly a year but tried using savlon and also Aloe vera gel I’m not sure which one works best but I used both of them daily after one dried I used the other and within a week or so the bumps was finally gone

Savlon on hands noticed elbow in mirror so put some on there too. I'm going to sit a while and drink tea. Took a few pictures, sun shining but looks like rain on the way. Run happy all

If anyone has any tips - someone told me a dab of savlon can sort the irritation - I'd be happy to hear it. It's about the only annoyance I really have right now, alongside the swelling round the frenulum.

hi had mine done 8 days ago my problem is i have a very sore gland or were your wee come out i have a blister like thing their been putting savlon on it and piss goes everywere

I WON'T stop using them though, far better 'Safe', albeit with sore hands......😒 I'm sure that Mum, Grandma or 'Jessy Next Door' have some Savlon 'Knocking About'..... if not you will have to Buy some😊. E[i]ther way Great news[/i] AndrewT

I use Diprobase as an emollient and have started to use Savlon on the crack, which is an anti-septic but also a skin-softener and (I hope) healing agent. Any advice, please, fellow sufferers?

Savlon and plaster applied to skinned knee, all will be good for R2 on Wednesday.

My toe has been red since Monday there is no discharge and no wound other than a scratch I called my local doctor and he says it was just inflammation but I’m terrified it’s Covid toe or infection or something worse (the white stuff is savlon antiseptic)

I've put on savlon at times when I've felt it becoming infected by too much itching and scratching. Night times are the worst too! Please again if anyone can offer advice, I'm absolutely fed up now and the original patch just seems to be expanding on my arm 😭

I have constant wet nose, and cold sores at the bottom of my nose, very difficult to get this healed maybe today l see a difference because l used Savlon yesterday. I have been using cold sore cream also Zovirax and witch hazel. I am also using Mometasone Furoate, l am always hoarse.

Folliculitis continues - wash fom Doctor doesn’t clear aloe vera savlon hydrocortisone Aveeno don’t work - using ice packs at night and will try oatmeal bath tonight - any ideas please?

to play up, today the same thing I had to pop to the shops today and when I got back immediately had to dash to the loo, once again a small amount but very thin and solid, I am in agony at the moment with my back passage because of the piles inflammation, (think i'll give the anusol a miss and try savlon

planned a lazy morning in bed as i was at work til gone ten last night but woke early and decided to get it over and done with I put my favourite running trainers on and darn it they slipped a bit, not much but enough to cause a blister then rub the top off but hey we ran for 35 minutes and a bit of savlon

so now have plastered on savlon and plotting revenge for next time. he won't catch me and I'll have a few words with owner!! happy running guys xx
