Feeling like hell

I posted a couple of weeks ago about being diagnosed with a diverticular disease flare up and the reactions to the Metronidazole antibiotic which I have never taken before, well last week I had the runs all week including the beginning of this week so decided to give my usual Laxido a miss for a day because of this, what a mistake this was, yesterday was bad everytime I stood up to do something I needed to go to the loo, small amounts but solid, this happened too many times to count and caused my piles to play up, today the same thing

I had to pop to the shops today and when I got back immediately had to dash to the loo, once again a small amount but very thin and solid, I am in agony at the moment with my back passage because of the piles inflammation, (think i'll give the anusol a miss and try savlon to see if it helps the soreness) I sat down to try and relax because of feeling weak and very shaky and suddenly felt very warm and sweaty, my anxiety had returned big time.

I know I need to see my GP again to try and get some answers, but of course its now the weekend so will have to wait til Monday/ Wednesday, can't go Tuesday as have got an hospital appointment about my new hearing aids.

Sorry about the long post but feeling down and needed to vent, take care everyone

Still feeling like hell, burning sensation in stomach and lower region, very shaky and hot flushes, I wonder could it still be a diverticulitis disease flare up. will phone nhs helpline (the Welsh equivalent) in the morning

I am so sorry that you still aren’t feeling well. Please call NHS in the morning. You may need another round of antibiotics. Do you have a fever?

Feeling a little better thank you , increased my laxido and doubled up on probiotics and it has made it easier to go to the loo, still feeling weak and shaky all the time so will still try and see my GP next week

Sorry to hear your unwell, I had diverticulitis, had the part of colon removed, so don't have it at the mo, it could come back 🙄. Anyway those antibiotics are really strong and I always had another lot of antibiotics to take at the same time, possibly comoxaclav..... The side affect were horrible, but hand in hand they both worked. I wonder if you need more..... Feel for you, hope your feeling better soon x

I feel for you, I really do. Diverticulitis and other symptoms have my innards feeling like chopped liver. This has a been the first Halloween I have ever missed for as long as I can remember! I make shadow boxes, prizes, decor, etc. It hit me like a ball peen on the head this year. I create 1 of a kind sculptures for all the ladies, and paper mache gifts for all the kids every year but it's been hard to organize a party for all kids family and friends. Chrons Disease exacerbates my m.s and vice versa but if we don't stay on our docs then it seems like we get lost everywhere but billing office. I've spent the last few weeks walking into walls and furniture, and black/blurred vision. We can only hope to see them on their productive days......lol I do hope it only gets more manageable for u.
