8 weeks healed, scar line is settling down along with swelling, but there are wrinkled healed gaps in between where the stitches were and scar tissue has knitted the edges together. So far so normal (hopefully) and the doc said those wrinkles in between would flatten out over time. And they all flatten out when 'up'.
However, there's one gap in the top (which is in contact with my pants during the day) that gets sore and looks a bit red when flaccid - only right in the corner of the gap right next to where a stitch healed. I'm guessing it's just getting rubbed during the day, but nothing (Savlon, E45, Vaseline) stops it getting sore.
Just wondering if others experienced this, if it passed, and if there were any ways people solved the soreness. It feels like friction, not overly painful, just a bit annoying and don't want it to get raw or open up. Panic panic panic, all advice welcome.

Hey I remember having one or two wrinkly bits that always looked red and worrying about it, but they did flatten out and disappear eventually. Just keep using the creams etc. Saying that I still occasionally get a red bit from wearing a particular pair of jeans which seem to rub, which is a shame cos they're a favourite pair
Really appreciate that reply. Now I'm home and chilling all the sore bits aren't hurting. 😂 Clearly, it's rubbing through the day and not my penis about to fall off. I'll keep on with the creams... someone suggested wearing a compression bandage... but I don't know whether that's a great idea at 8 weeks healing. Potentially, too. I just have to accept that some clothes are off-limits now for a long while.
