I have a lump under my C-section scar. Its extremely painful.Especially during my Menstrual cycle, the pain continues for 7-10 days after?
I have had the lump for 3 yrs & I can no longer live with the pain. It gets worse every month. I have seen Dr after Dr but they are dismissive & not concerned. My OB thinks its just scar tissue, but I have read about Endometriosis which fits my symptoms best. My Dr. doesn't think its endo because my

Any ladies on here with scar endometriosis caused by a c section?
Just been diagnosed after suffering with a painful lump just above my c section scar. The lump is so painful the first half of my cycle and then feels better after ovulation.

NHS: Do I have to have a sweep?
I had a sweep with my first pregnancy and no word of a lie, it was more painful than the actual birth itself, probably because the pain lasted for hours after. They didn't even tell me what they were doing or what it was for, I thought it was a regular check up as my daughter was due on or around 23rd

First ever laparoscopy
Hello everyone! Just found out the date for my first lap and was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what I should take? What I should expect? And what it's like after the op? As I feel quite anxious, this is my first ever operation so I'm hoping it's not too bad! Thank you, ella xx

Is there a role for surgery in the management of lymphoedema? Alex: ecancer 2 / DOI: 10.3332/ecancer.2008.LTR152 - very informative!

Has anyone had bladder endometriosis that has actually penetrated the bladder wall and is inside?
I have stage 4 endo with massive bladder involvement. The endo is inside my bladder, not just outside. I have been speaking to various surgeons, including a couple of urologists who both say that it is too difficult to excise because of where it is- trygone area, close to the ureters. I have been offered

Just been told I should have a planned c-section, and it's really not what I want.
This is my 5th baby and I'm under consultant care as I'm considered very high risk due to 2 previous placental abruptions which resulted in 2 emergency c-sections at 28wks and 31wks. However I've also had 2 natural births at term, so the advice I was given was to have a planned section mainly because

Morning everyone. I wish you all a painfree day. Well we made it down to Burnham on sea. We have a lovely chalet and everyone has been very kind to us and helpful as well. The ankle is still there unfortunately, but i think it is healing. I have more problems from the scar itching. So i don't suppise

Hi All. I have been diaognoised with Fibro and went to the pain clinic, they have suggested that my GP puts me on Tapentadol or Duloxetine
anyone had either of these and if so what side effects did you suffer. Any help would be very helpful. Thanks.

Nearly a year on from surgery I notice a bulge just below breastbone ,just under middle of my " rooftop " scar .Anyone else got this ?
I had a trans hiatial op leaving a a scar just under my rib cage . The bulge is in the middle and I presume it's where the new oespageous meets the pulled up remainder of stomach . It's something I've only just noticed and I'm really conscious of it and can feel it if I don't sit completely straight
