ADHD with Aggressive Physical Violence
The Dr's first tried
Ritalin
but that gave her severe anxiety. beginning in the 2nd grade her emotional disregulation started going to another level. She started becoming physically violent towards me (only me) hitting, kicking, biting, scratching, spitting, and just recently breaking things.

Medicate until they stop eating?
So right now we are at 20 mg of extended release
Ritalin
(called Metadate or something like that) and it seems to me like she is getting more anxious and having some trouble falling asleep at night.

Folic acid
There are groups which recommend 5mg of folic acid daily when on every other day b12 and say that it's essential.Does anyone have successful treatment with eod b12 while supplementing less folic acid than 5mg?

Could anyone tell me the benefit of having both TT4 and Free T4 tested please…just looking at differences in tests and prices please?
Hi, I won’t repeat the question, just wondering if anyone could give me an idea on this please. Obviously a bit of difference between the pricing of the two tests I’m looking at and not sure how helpful that info could be? Im not on anything for thyroid, but tsh has been up and down in past so I keep

Take nothing after Evenity
I finished with Evenity 3 months ago, tried Actonel and Raloxifine to hold on to the gains, both gave me bad migraine. My consultant is now suggesting I take nothing, just Vitamin D, will I hold on to the gains with just Vitamin D? I thought we had to have something to keep the gains.

How long do reserves last?
I stopped self injecting Dec2021 as my level was way over the top score in my blood test. I was OK until the last few months. Does this mean my reserves are used up, as I have been sleeping 12 hours a night and my feet have got more numb. My level was OK last year. I haven't been tested for B12 since

Hi, this is my story
I broke my foot following a fall off a high kerb in August 2021 and should have been referred for a DEXA scan by the minor injuries unit who treated this, but wasn't until I asked my GP for one, following a tip off from a friend who knew that that is NHS guidance. Following the DEXA scan and recommendation

B12 how much and how often
I’ve been struggling with PA for 2 and 1/2 years. No one would listen. Finally from Israel I was advised to get the Intrinsic Factor Antibody Blood Test and the Parietal Cell Antibody Blood Test. Pernicious Anemia. I have to take a shot of Methylcobalamin daily. The Israelis recommend taking a shot

chatgpt and diet
today I’ve been having some fun with my friend chatty. He (she?) is always friendly, never judgemental and free with the advice😅. So I gave it a detailed list of a typical days diet for us with quantities of each ingredient, and asked for a breakdown of nutrients including main vitamins, minerals,

Syringe/needle advice please
I've just been diagnosed with SIBO after a year of unrelenting diarrhoea following food poisoning at a festival. Also with severe methylation difficulties, B vitamin deficiencies and in particular B12 deficiency. I'm relieved to have a diagnosis and treatment strategy, but feeling somewhat overwhelmed

Advice please on blood results especially possible iron issues.
I would be very grateful for any advice on my recent blood results please. I am concerned that for first time ever MCH and MCHC are just over range. My serum B 12 has historically been at top of range without supplementing. This has now dropped lower although still high in range. Never feel well although
