Stopping B vits before test
Just checking, I'm now taking separate B12 drops as well as a B complex - I'm ok to keep taking these drops up until the day before a blood test aren't I? Am I right in thinking it's just supplements containing biotin (ie the B complex in my case) you should stop a week before?

First time poster overwhelmed with symptoms and considering self-medicating with bovine adrenals & NDT. Asking for advice & recommendations
TLDR: First time poster diagnosed Hashimotos and POI, investigating IBS which is potentially also autoimmune cause. Fatigue, depression and anxiety are ruining my life. Low Adrenal Index Test results so considering self-medicating with Bovine Adrenals. High TSH and anti thyroid antibodies, but low-end-of-normal

What can I do to stop getting colds and flus all the time?
Hi. I've been on IM B12 for about a year now and all symptoms have improved and I'm generally doing really well. I suspect B1 deficiency (improvement with oral supplementation) was present and I corrected D deficiency. I have hashimotos thyroiditis and am stable on medication. I still get colds and flus

Subclinical hypothyroidism and IVF
Hi, Weāve had 1 round of IVF/ICSI which we were referred for due to my partnerās low sperm count. Our first embryo transfer was unsuccessful but we have another one frozen. The clinic asked me to get my Vit D and thyroid levels tested by the GP before FET. I asked the GP for a print out of the results

Vitamin D loading dose issue
Hi all, I was prescribed 50,000 iu Vitamin D3 (SunVit brand) to take weekly for 6 weeks. I took my first dose on Tuesday last week, since then Iāve been experiencing quite severe tension headaches, dizzy spells, tummy issues and anxiety. The headaches were unbearable and from the moment I woke up

Wondering what supplements and brands of supplements everyone is on? I am 46 & live in the U.K. and have paroxysmal AF. I had an ablation 4 months ago. Not on blood thinners anymore. Taking verapamil but Dr advised to come off it soon. I really want to take the supplements that can help me but I know

I Find This Helpful.
I have reviewed some information on B12 supplementation that can be found it relates to autism. I found it to be very helpful so I thought I would share that. Not that any of us need more information to review. I with some study apply the principle of Gestalt psychologist Kurt Koffka:
"The whole

Hydroxocobalamin
I have asked prior as part of other posts Where can I find the details on how or why Hydroxo is better or longer lasting and by how much longer lasting is it marketed as being . . . . . I think many need the details of the supposed advantages of Hydroxo. . . . . I certainly have bought and used

B2 B6
I am reading elsewhere on health unlocked that we need B2 to absorb B6 which prevents excess B6. . . . . This is conection with PD although seems appropriate for most I currently use B6 usually about 3mg along with 600/700ish B12 and I use B6 as B12 more or less cured a load of my symptoms but
