MMC after heartbeat
Hi all, I found out last week my baby stopped growing at 9 weeks 1 day. Up until this point it was spot on for growth, and heart was beating perfectly. I had bleeding in the pregnancy but that was fine and due to it being an FET and not connected to the pregnancy. My question is, when a pregnancy is

Do I really need my fallopian tubes checked?
I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and was told by a gynecologist that I'd need to have a fallopian tube test (HyCoSy) prior to starting ovulation medication (Clomid I believe). I've been waiting 4 months for the test and this month is yet another cycle they're unable to fit me in for! They seem to

Ropinirole and Gabapentin
Hi All, I'm 53 and based in the UK. I've had steadily worsening RLS and been taking 2mg of Ropinirole for around 8 years now. Over the last year my symptoms have got a lot worse and in the last couple of months I've developed spasms and jerking, mainly in my right shoulder (I've nearly punched myself

RLS and now apnea
I've had RLS for over 5 decades now, and have survived by changing drugs when each one has become ineffective. The latest drug--a semi-opioid called buprenorphine--has been the best! However, I now have central sleep apnea greatly interfering with sleep. I wake up tired and am tired throughout the day

Lupus, Sjogrens or something else?
Last December my blood test showed positive ANA titre 1:1000 with dsDNA and histone antibodies which are typical for Lupus. I went to see rheumatologist who said that my symptoms (sinus problems for years etc.) would match to Sjogrens but he still wanted to double check results few months later. Last

Steroids with general anaesthetic
Do I need to double the dose of my steroids (currently 11.5) on the day of hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic and also on the day afterwards? Preop assessment didn't mention it have just been reading around and feel really nervous now. Especially as I've been taking steroids for 21 years.

Starting Ropinirole as a first med for RLS?
I have had more severe RLS since last March, which is possibly a Long-Covid symptom. So far I have had my iron/ferritin tested. My ferritin was on 25 initially but has gone up to 45 after taking oral iron supplement which I still continue to take. My RSL has not improved much yet though. It is still

Anyone else with EDS have severe asthma?
I’m just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation as me and has EDS and severe, uncontrolled asthma? Now I know that the two aren’t linked but I’m just curious. I have many other health issues that aren’t related to EDS and are very rare so I rarely find anyone to talk to that has similar

Small lumps on neck
Hi, I noticed 2 small pea sized lumps on the side/back of my neck a few weeks ago. They are soft/rubbery, moveable and not painful. I have Sjogrens, so I am very used to my glands under my jaw & front of my neck swelling up & getting sore when I'm tired or in a flare, but this is different as they don't

RLS and Magnesium
Has anyone experienced this? I started taking Magnesium for my RLS but each time I take it I get terrible cramps in my legs and toes several times a night. Yet Magnesium is used to get rid of cramp. Any thoughts here?
My husband was put on GABApentin, stilnox and madopar. He only used madopar once. He’s afraid to continue it. Although he did notice last night his legs were more restless without it . This process is so frustrating as he’s been withdrawing from opiates since one month. Any feedback from anyone is helpful

More advice please prior to GP consultation
Hi experts. I upped my pred dose to 20 mg 2 weeks ago believing I had PMR flare after dropping to 15 for 2 weeks. But with your knowledge and experience you suggested Piriformis syndrome - am still struggling with the PS pains but am fortunately having some sports therapy massage and stretching and exercising

Nebivolol timing and low blood pressure
I take 2.5mg Nebivolol and 200mg Flecainide daily, taking the Nebivolol in the mornings. I have low normal BP but recently have had readings in the 80/50 range which make me feel pretty bad. I drink water and keep my salt level up but every day down it goes about 2 hours after I take the Nebivolol

Things don't seem to be getting better at night. While I have foot tightening and spasm like sensations during the day, I get an irresistible urge to stretch my legs at night so I can never get comfortable in bed. Sometimes I have to lie on top of the blankets to get any relief. I had a chat with my
