How long for MRI results?
Hi All, this is my first post but hoping you may be able to shed some light on all of this for me. Had a pelvic MRI yesterday, how long usually for the results to come back? The nurse afterwards said they have to pass the results on to gynae & urology (?), then it will go to the gynae team at St Marys

Omega 3?
I was recommended omega 3 by my cardiologist. After the first capsule I received an arrhythmia and a decrease in heart rate and long breaks. I was scared and didn't take it! Has anyone had reactions to omega 3? We found this on Google: "The World Health Organization asked us to evaluate the health effects

I was diagnosed in June 2019 with PMR after an unexpected attack out of the blue , when I was in so much pain I couldn't move and began shaking and with my teeth chattering. An excellent GP pulled out all the stops, arranged immediate blood tests and other examinations and very soon prescribed prednisolone

Supplements and medication?
Since being diagnosed over the phone with suspected angina in Nov and only having spoken to a cardiac nurse to answer some form questions I've not had the chance to talk to anyone about what is going on or what I should/shouldn't be doing etc. I have learnt a few things by research and reading posts

Am I the only one going through these observations for my 8year old boy?
My son is 8 years old and was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 6. We got him on 504 plan for the school and we have a behavior therapist to guide him. He is very kind hearted, loves to read and has some challenges in getting along with peers (more below). We give him Omega-3 tablets. He is not on any

BEST PRESCRIPTION SLEED AID
I stopped taking Diphenhydramine as a sleep aid after reading all the negative effects it has on rls. Wondering what most people have been prescribed by their Doctor for better sleep. I currently take Gabapentin and use medical marijuana but it requires high amount of thc to give me a decent night sleep

Alternatives to Melatonin
Helloā My six (almost seven) year old daughter was just diagnosed with ADHD and General Anxiety Disorder. Like many kids with these two disorders she has SUCH a hard time getting to sleep at night. A combined inability to settle and an all consuming fear of aloneness/the dark means many meltdowns, night

Effects of increasing Mirtazapine dose?
I started on 15mg mirtazapine for depressive symptoms (of complex ptsd) just over a week ago, and I've been so anxious, to the point where I'm almost constantly dissociated, and instead of 4-6 hours of restful sleep, I now get closer to 8 hours but I wake up anxious several times in the night. However

Omega-3 rehash
Iāve looked here on the group and especially in Google checking to see about omega-3 which my GP asked me to take to lower my cholesterol. She asked me if I knew any contraindications with my complex array of meds and supplements. Here on the group there seems to be mixed thoughts about it and when
