Beta HCG elevation
Morning ladies. I tried to explain to the GP that my clinic requested a Beta blood test to confirm pregnancy. They couldn’t get me in until late this month. I did a little research and there is a company on line - Medichecks. I sent off a blood sample and voilà 783 on day 13 after 5dt 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤞🏻

Tonsillitis question and mtx
Hi. My 3 year old granddaughter has just got back from A&E and she has tonsillitis and has been given antibiotics. I’m due my MTX jab tomorrow and as it’s bank holiday I can’t get hold of Rheumy nurse. On the internet the NHS says it not contagious but the bacterial or viral infection that causes tonsillitis

Stress management/support
Hello all! Am feeling rather sorry for myself this week. I've had a really stressful time of it at work which has resulting in me quitting because it wasn't getting better. Everything came to a head and it all got a bit tense. As a result my levels have plummeted and I'm really symptomatic again.

Recovering from bronchitis.
So, after coughing and not sleeping for 5 days I finally went to see my GP. He diagnosed me with bronchitis and checked back on my notes and told me I haven't had an antibiotic prescribed for me for 6+ years. I'm halfway through them and finally not coughing near as much. This was just as well as I

Flu Can Bring Back AFIB
I live in Australia and flu is rife here at the moment as we go into winter. I have had the flu this last 5 days and with it, my AFIB returned 24*7 and thought I would share my experiences. I read on the internet that various medical studies show that in 18% of cases the flu will bring back AFIB in

PECULIARITIES OF THYROID STATUS OF PRESCHOOLCHILDREN WITH ACUTE BRONCHITIS
Another reason to look for non-thyroidal illness/euthyroid sick syndrome in another illness. Is it possible that, in time, thyroid status will be seen as every bit as relevant and important as temperature, blood pressure and all the other things that are done almost totally automatically? . [i]

MMT not good for me
I quit methadone after two years on it. I will be abstinent 2 years on July19th. I was on 80mgs when I quit cold turkey because I was done living in a drug induced haze all the time. All that weight you gain that they tell you is because you are now healthy, that’s a lie. I had a week of feeling like

Hi everyone it's been a long time since I last posted but I feel I have to share this. After 36 yrs living with RLS and trying almost every medication that we're all told to use I've finally found the one thing that stops my symptoms. It's cannabis, and although so many of you may judge me for it I can
