To stent or not to stent ?
As a result of mild, burning angina symptoms I was scanned. I have one significant blockage in the LAD artery. How significant I just don't know because it was impossible to actually get to talk to a cardiologist. Then I received an appointment to get a stent and I requested that the procedure be postponed

Driving
Im just over 4 weeks from a H/A and 3 weeks from having a stent. I had to stop driving my car for 4 weeks and I'm a LGV driver so my vocational licence is suspended until I do the treadmill test, i'm not expecting there to be an issue with that so fingers crossed when that time comes. However, I drove

Stent longevity
I was wondering what can go wrong with a stent after a number of years. For example, if a blockage forms again within the stent can they replace the stent or does it need to be bypassed ?

Looking back
Hey Everyone Mum says you shouldn't look back only forwards but I like to look back to see how far I've come. A year ago I caught the dreaded virus that can't be named. It's that that started all this I was fairly ill but recovered by being in bed (oddly enough I got my first negative test Easter Sunday

Stent for angina
I began to get a burning sensation in my chest when walking last year. Angina was suggested by the GP so I got a heart scan and one significant block was detected. Then I received a letter asking me to come for a stent. During all this time I have never been consulted about anything. Pros and

heart bypass
just wondering how long people’s heart bypasses have lasted? I had a double bypass twenty one years ago and a stent fitted three years ago, all seems well up to now.

Husband needs quadruple bypass
Good evening all, I’m not sure where to start. My husband (62) was admitting to hospital 3 weeks ago with pneumonia and breathing problems. He has a routine heart ultrasound which showed severe heart malfunction. Last week he had an angiogram which we were told would diagnose the exact problem and probably

GTN Travel
hi folks Just a quick question. Will my GTN spray get passed airport security as travelling to Thailand to visit my daughter? I’ve not needed it since my stent implant but it’s a reassuring comfort to have in my pocket. TIA Andy
