hi folks

Just a quick question.

Will my GTN spray get passed airport security as travelling to Thailand to visit my daughter? I’ve not needed it since my stent implant but it’s a reassuring comfort to have in my pocket.

TIA

Andy

I have always been able to take my GTN spray and medication through airport security.

My GP has written a letter giving my diagnosis and listing all my medications for me to show the staff if necessary.

Thanks.

Doctors were pretty bemused when I asked for a letter and just gave me a copy of my prescription. Unfortunately the GTN spray isn’t listed.🙄

Yes no problem at all, list it with all your other medication, travel with an unopened boxed one that has your prescription note on it, travel with your copy prescription.

Most of all enjoy your trip and your family.

Thanks for your kind wishes.

If under 100ml and in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag, passengers are permitted to take liquids, gels and pastes through security separately from their hand baggage. This includes inhalers.
