So two years ago today i was in the back of an ambulance en-route to the cath lab where i was introduced to my wee stent to clear the 100% blockage i had in my LAD. Roll on to today and I'm waiting to go back for another urgent angiogram to find out why im getting so much angina. Have to say i'm a little bit nervous but I have been assured that a non emergency angiogram is a lot less traumatic than one that saves my life lol

Yes they went through my wrist last time. I was bruised from my wrist to my elbow! Was told in hospital it would be 2-3 weeks waiting on this one but when i rang on Wednesday they are only doing the urgent referrals from February so have a while to wait yet!
Definitely! Last time i wasn't even aware of what they were doing until afterwards when the dr said "you had a heart attack and we've fixed the blockage with a stent"! I just remember thinking well that explained the 10 tn truck on my chest then lolI am kind of hoping I do need another stent as I recovered really well afterwards before going downhill this last 6 months.
Best wishes Jules, hoping you don't have to wait too long and it'll soon be all sorted so you can start feeling better. Are you on meds for the angina in the meantime? I'm on a nitro transiderm patch and have GTN spray if needed. I was also on Ikorel tablets but don't need them anymore.
