Im just over 4 weeks from a H/A and 3 weeks from having a stent.
I had to stop driving my car for 4 weeks and I'm a LGV driver so my vocational licence is suspended until I do the treadmill test, i'm not expecting there to be an issue with that so fingers crossed when that time comes.
However, I drove my car for the first time since the H/A and I tell you what, I can't believe just how stressful driving is lol. It's something that never hugely affected me before but since the H/A i'm more conscious of my heart beating etc. I drove probably 30 mins one way with the same return trip an hour or so later and I was shattered and stressed out, hahaha.😱

I have had both motorbike and car driving licences for over 55 years, and still ride as well as drive. Since I started driving/riding the standard of driving has got progressively worse. Tailgating, reckless speeding, driving on the phone, motorway undertaking and lane hogging to name only a few of the things that are now commonplace. And all this compounded by the current state of UK roads, with potholes everywhere, the ever increasing volume of traffic, and dare I say it the ever growing number of cyclists of all types who believe they are invulnerable. However what I can honestly say, is that I feel safer and more composed riding on two wheels rather than driving on four, although tbf I rarely ride at night.
