Miniscus pain
I paid to have my miniscus tear repaired as I’d been suffering with it for 10 months and getting nowhere with my gp except for him doling out painkillers. The surgery was two weeks ago and things seem better so far. About 3 weeks before my op my other knee was getting increasingly painful and I’m sure

Recovery from laparoscopy
Hiya. I had my lap on Tuesday afternoon. I’m still heavily reliable on painkillers. I’m now on antibiotics for my throat too. I can’t sleep ok my side. I can get up and have small walks but I’m still in so much pain. How long did it take anyone else? I know it’s only day 4 post surgery but I don’t cope

I was getting better but after adding exercise my symptoms relapsed ! Sever fatigue severe muscle pain. When I stand due to muscle weakness I sweat alot. My eyes got improved but my muscles don't have any strength. Really I don't know what to do further. My injection frequency is 4 days now SC INJECTION

So had my post op appointment today with my surgeon , who carried out my laparoscopy 3 months ago.. I tried to ask questions.. like why is my pain worse now than it was prior my op? .. his response was 'well I removed the Endo so you shouldn't be in pain' .. I then went on to express that I have to take

Jaw and teeth could it be GCA
My jaw and teeth are so bad but Dr doesn't think it's anything to do with pmr. My teeth are so sensitive thought it was with steroids and my jaw hurts really bad when I chew on both sides , been to dentist and had teeth checked and xrayed, they are ok . Getting bloods checked again , have mentioned to

Sorry folks big frustrated rant coming up !
Think the topic kind of sums it up. I will try not to swear but my frustration is just so over the top today after a series of phone calls and ‘live chat’ with sciensus and also biologics nurse I just have to let off some steam with people I know understand. So very shortened version of what’s been

I've seen CI mentioned a few times here, sometimes in association with migraine so this might be of interest to some people here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25313120/ Balance issues also get mentioned here so if you haven't already seen them the Life Rebalanced Chronicles, made for VeDA by an award

Dental treatment abroad and travel insurance w/ asthma cover
My mum's due to go to Turkey for dental implant treatment. She has brittle asthma, albeit, controlled. I've found an insurer for the dental aspect, but they won't cover for asthma. Can anybody please give me any suggestions and guidance on what to do? Thank you.

Hi all - I'm new here and also very early on in my thyroid journey. I first got tested a couple of years ago because I was super tired and showed up as borderline.
