Awful pain
Hello Junny,I’m sorry your in such bad pain , I wish I could help, sometimes these pains do just come on for no rhyme or reason . It has happened to me. Hopefully you will find it a bit better by the morning. Make sure you give your GP surgery a call at 8 am to arrange an appointment . Let me know how you get on. 😃
Is your pain continuous or intermittent?Where is it actually located, over bladder, groin, or vaginally? Pain over the lower abdomen could indicate possible acute serious problem. A kidney stone could give you severe pain into the groin but not be life threatening. Certainly many possibilities. The immediate decision would be whether you need to go to a+e or can wait to callyour GP in AM, etheral
That’s what I can’t figure out at times during the day.. it’s located vaginally but it hurts around too
Many gynecological problems coulcause this. With the amount of pain you're having, you need to be seen ASAP to rule out infections, endometriosis, tumours, cysts, etc. And it still could be caused by an abdominal problem. A +E may be appropriate if that is your quickest option. Best of luck etheral
If it’s vaginally and it’s a burning pain it could be lichen sclerosis. I have that and I needed cortisone cream to cure it. Doctors aren’t very smart about this condition. Some don’t know how to treat it. Please don’t ignore it. Feel better.
Hi Junny1,I have had this exact same thing but mine just came on during the day. I sympathise with all the pain you are going through😖. There are many different reason of course but I like you couldn’t getout the chair or sit on the loo and all the pills in the world didn’t help.
Mine turned out tone a prolapsed nerve in the back affecting my whole groin area. I would definitely listen to everyone else’s comment and phone your doctor , see if they can organises scanASAP.
Good luck & please let me know how you get on x
Mine turned out to be nothing as far as my gp is concerned. I was talking it too seriously and worrying too much as far as she was concerned. She said if the pain was abit higher up it could be your ovaries but it isn’t. I almost walked out because she was just talking like was making a bigger deal
Could be any number of things , ring your GP ASAP or go to A&E. You could have done 111 but its too late now as normal services are back for a few days. Best wishes.
I have had something like this. It got a lot worse over the weekend so I did an online contact with NHS 111. They called me back less than two hours later. They took me through all the possibilities to eliminate anything that needed immediate intervention and then referred me to my GP. Because it was in a lockdown I couldn't go in to A&E but it wouldn't have made much different. My GP helped me with medication but it was basically rest, hot water bottles, and wait.
So if you can't get through to your GP then NHS111 online might be a good line to take.
Sounds like your doctor etc took it more seriously and paid more attention. By gp who I managed to see earlier was useless and said it’s nothing to worry about. It could be three things. And you don’t have any of them so take painkillers. I wanted to scream!! Ateast be abit sympathetic doctor.
Sound like what my mother had for months the doctor did X-rays and said it was hip arthritis and put her in physical therapy which she hated said it did not help the only thing that helped her so she said was stretching the legs… she still has it but I have noticed she doesn’t complain as much so maybe its not as bad… You should go see your doctor for real diagnosis and probably better pain meds.
Hi junny, my personal opinion is that this is nerve pain. It can strike anywhere. I think gaba might help and there are various forms so if you do a little research you may find something that works. Magnesium could also be helpful.
Is it more on one side than the other? If so it could be a nerve impingement from the hip. Arthritis or a spinal disc problem. Just a suggestion from personal experience. See your GP again if no improvement with rest.
Try if you can to be the 1st person to call in the morning. 🤞🏼
