Day 7 injections and update
Let's start with the positives, done my daily injections again this morning, which are meriofert and fyremadel. Only 3 more days to go on this and I'm booked in for scan day tomorrow so fingers crossed I get good news everything inside is going as should be. Symptoms wise - so yesterday was harder than

How long after starting Buserelin injections, did YOU bleed?
I am now on day 11 of injections and was told to expect a period between 7-10 days after. My cycle is quite long usually anyway, and never regular enough to track so I suppose this is a factor but the cramps I am getting are absolutely insane, which I never usually get monthly. I'm just getting worried

Stitches out - relief
I just wanted to share this. I had a right eye trabeculectomy in 2018 due to eye pressure peaking at 50+. It did a great job of getting my eye pressure down to low teens but since then I've had constant dry eye issues despite a rigorous cleaning and maintenance schedule, and every type of lubricant known

Eyedrops & breastfeeding
Hello! I have a 3 week old baby and my consultant told me to completely come off my eyedrops so I can breastfeed, they now feel like I need to go on them again with funny pulling sensation and headaches. Has anyone every breastfed on medication? I'm taking timoptol 0.5% and brinzolomide. Thanks in advance

Seeing double?uble?
In ICU and for a while after I had double vision. It faded and is OK now. Is that a common side effect of sedation? If not, any suggestions what might have caused it? I didn’t get a chance to talk to a doctor about it because it was so hard to speak that it was never a top priority, so probably no-one

reports of other autoimmune disorders following GCA?
Sorry this may be a bit lengthy.... In fall of 2018 I was dx with severe dry eye, followed a few months later with severe dry mouth. I was 67 at the time and had never had any illness of any sort in my life. From symptoms, drs thought Sjogrens, a autoimmune disease. While having a lip biopsy for

I want to recommend EMDR and Prazosin for PTSD
They both work pretty good! ESPECIALLY EMDR, it even helped me with my fear of heights and now I can ride roller coasters! Prazosin is an RX for flashbacks.

The Well Red TheraPad - my initial experience
As a time-saving measure, I decided to do my TheraPad sessions while sitting at my laptop. However, I found it awkward to put on the elastic belt, and to line it up correctly, each session. I greatly reduced this problem by sewing the elastic belt to the TheraPad, taking care to only sew along the

Blurred vision
Please can I ask if it’s normal when reducing that you can develop blurred vision in one eye with floaters and slight numbness on and off at left side of eye. It happened 2wks into my reducing to 12mg. I am reducing @ 1mg every 4weeks 🤔🙏

Outdoor swimming, pred, cataracts and tinted goggles!
In response to my recent post regarding MTX and photosensitivity, jinasc reminded me that bright sunlight may increase the potential pred. side effect of an increased risk of cataracts. I have been dutifully wearing my sunnies whenever there has been a hint of sunshine but had to take them off when

Irridioplasty
Has anyone had or know about this? I had irridotomies over 20 years ago for acute angle closure glaucoma. After an attack in March I have been told that only cataract surgery can open angles but I thought I had read that irridioplasty could do this by laser. I only have small cataracts that are not
