I am now on day 11 of injections and was told to expect a period between 7-10 days after. My cycle is quite long usually anyway, and never regular enough to track so I suppose this is a factor but the cramps I am getting are absolutely insane, which I never usually get monthly.
I'm just getting worried incase Im doing something wrong?

First time on day 8, ovulated when expected. Second cycle on day 15 but I knew I ovulated late that cycle so only started buserelin 2 days after ovulation instead of 7. Xx
I wasn’t either but I decided I wanted to know exactly where I was at, really just for my own interest and peace of mind. When I ovulated late I asked the clinic if I should start buserelin later but they said no. Xx
Ohh yeah that makes sense. I guess I will keep waiting. At least I know that its normal for it not to come within the window they advised. My cycle is often between 38-41 days long.
I think that window assumes you ovulate day 14 and have 28 day cycles. My cycles are usually 26-27 and ov d13 but that one I ovulated 5d late for whatever reason. Do you have a scan on d14 to check progress? When I had mine I had not had a bleed but they could see my uterine wall twitching so knew the bleed was imminent, then it arrived the next day d15. I was rescanned d21, all good, then started stims. My ovaries were a little slower getting going with stims than the first round due to a full extra week of buserelin but it did not affect final outcome and actually got a BFP on this go xx
Yes my scan is on Monday with would be day 15 of my injections. I feel like I've got so much to learn, I took in everything i could at my info day and ive researched online but it still feels like im going in blind.
It’s definitely an uphill struggle to begin with! If you haven’t already checkout theduff.co.uk It’s a good level of info written in a down to earth and accessible way. Good luck! Xx
