Life after chemo...
Had 5 days of
Radiotherapy
on my right thigh bone (showed 72% chance of fracture) and then started chemotherapy in Mid-November (Cisplatin / Pemetrexed) and Denosumab injections to strengthen my bones. Had 5th chemo cycle last week, last one planned early March.

Levothyroxine Sodium vs Levothyroxine
My husband is on a prescription Levothyroxine because his thyroid was damaged due to
radiotherapy
, so I'm familiar with the prescription med. Can you tell me if the prescription Levo is also Levothyroxine Sodium. Is Eltroxin and Euthyrox just another brand name for Levothyroxine Sodium?

Effexor has reduced side effects
I take effexor for depression and has helped reduce side effects from hormone therapy after successful radiation therapy. Has anyone had similar experience?

My radiation started concurrent with hormone therapy no delays waiting for hormone therapy 4-6 weeks

Post lumpectomy and radiation breast infection
Has anybody developed inflammation and tenderness emanating from their lumpectomy scar? I finished radiation treatment 4 months ago and wasn’t expecting it.

Berberine
Does berberine help the effectiveness of radiation therapy? I've heard that it does but I would like some opinions of all the experts on this forum.

I’m new here
I had the ‘standard’ six cycles of Carbo/Paclitaxel followed by 25 sessions of external
radiotherapy
which I finished at the end of December. I’ve been very lucky and weathered it all well so far but also know that the real stress starts now!

Hello , I'm new here !
I have a serious condition due to having extensive
radiotherapy
in 1994. This was for Hodgkins lymphoma in the right lung , and I now have Bronchiectasis and other problems . I'm hoping to connect with people with similar conditions and share experiences .

Radical prostatectomy successful - now what?
6 weeks after surgery and my recovery has progressed relatively well. My first post-surgery blood test showed my PSA score to be 'undetectable'. My urinary control has been excellent, I'm walking as much as 10 miles at a time without any ill-effects, and I've recently also began incorporating some mild

Surgery after Radiotherapy
My question...has anyone had breast surgery following
radiotherapy
? My surgeon is trying to put me off due to possible complications, but I know I cannot continue like this as it’s affecting my life....sleep & exercise amongst other things.

Barefoot running
I'm starting my C25k in a couple of weeks, when I've finished my

Re: unexpected radiation treatment for pain in leg
Hi all, I have been stage 4 since October 2018. Last year I had a few issues with my back but since I broke it in 2016, I thought it was related to the accident. After going to a orthopedic oncologist, I was told that I tore my labrum in my hip. He wants radiation bc he feels that the tear stems from

I'm 62 - live in Florida - have chronic lymphatic leukemia - now have prostate cancer - gleason 9 - psa 10. I still work full time -enjoy what I do - have a very active life. Bone scan and mri show that prostate cancer has not spread except in seminal vessicle. I'm looking at doing Cyberknife radiation

Leukocyte telomere length is associated with aggressive prostate cancer in localized prostate cancer patients.
INTERPRETATION: Our results showed for the first time that LTL was shorter in PCa patients with high Gleason scores and that short LTL and genetically predicted short LTL are associated with worse prognosis in PCa patients receiving prostatectomy or
radiotherapy
.

Treatment Decision
Hello Friends, Diagnosed 3A NSC. After completing chemo radiation treatment my PET Scan showed good response. My main 3mm tumor reduced and no current activity. Lymph nodes also inactive. Before treatment my oncologist said no surgery, but immunotherapy was preferred treatment. My PDL-1 tested
