Just a quick question................ Have I read somewhere that it is best to take AdCal separately from Prednisolone - I.e. take after lunch and dinner? I have read so much to try and optimise my health, I can't remember all I have read!!

Adcal shouldn't be taken same time as Pred. I take mine before lunch and evening meal, shouldn't be taken within 2 hrs of some foods - see paperwork.

Yes. Pred and calcium interfere with each other (can never remember which way round!).
To all the letters I have just read 8am Tuesday re AA etc and Adcal I would say be sure to follow up the AA question. I have just had a steel rod inserted in my right femur which had fractured due to taking AA for 6 years. Had the same procedure 10 months ago for the left femur. Avoid it at all costs. The pain it caused is not worth it.
Am now in a wheelchair as lower back pain is awful when walking.
Re Adcal. I was on that for ages but hated the chalky tabs dissolved in water. New doctor stopped them and put me on Accrete tabs which I take with a drink in the afternoons . No problem.
