Proteolytic Enzymes... Has anyone had any success with them?
I already take Curcumin and Vit K2 on top of ADCAL supplements and wondered if anyone has used Proteolytic Enzymes. Are they worth the money? I am currently on 7.5mg Steriods and taking Alendronic acid too.

Can patients with low-risk PCa benefit from radical treatment?

Prostate-Specific Antigen: Predicting for Biochemical Failure During Salvage Radiation Therapy After Prostatectomy
For anyone thinking about Salvage Radiation Treatment (SRT) this article makes the point that you should have your PSA measured before, during (25th session) and after treatment...my Doctor did not believe this was necessary; I see now that it was. Luckily I had my own tests done at ultra low levels

Can someone please remind me of the mantra for taking these ? I am sure i read not to take Omeprazole with Pred as it affects absorption and know for sure that Omeprazole affects the absorption of calcium and Vit B12. I am currently stable on 5mgs but after 8 weeks my body is still saying no to further

Dear Friends, I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004. I am brca1 positive. Initially I had double mastectomy and did well until 2016 when I had metastasis to axillilary lymph nodes and left lung. Had full course of ACT, radiation and more lymph node dissection. Have been on xeloda, capacetabine

How do I choose between Cyberknife (SBRT) monotherapy vs HDR Brachytherapy+EBRT?
M59, Gleason 4+3 (second opinion confirmed by Jonathan Epstein at John Hopkins), PSA7.8 average past 1 year, T2C stage. Haven't been operated or radiated before. Currently am being offered: 1) 5 fraction Cyberknife (SBRT) therapy that is concentrated to the prostate. 2) 1 time high dose rate Bracytherapy

Zytiga - Abiraterone - To take or not to take right now
Greetings; I have been avidly reading a lot of the posts on prostate cancer. They have provided invaluable information on the way I have made decisions with my treatment. My wife is a profesional nurse so I do have a heads up on research and the blessing of working as a team to prolong our lives together

Help convincing surgeon
When I was officially diagnosed in sept 2019 with breast cancer ER negative HER2 positive and positive nodes. I had 4 months neojuvent chemo then due to lockdown had left breast and lymph nodes removed. This followed by a further 10 months of chemo and 20 sessions of radiotherapy. I know they removed

Who else was shocked!!
I'm new here but thought I would add me current experience with MBC. I was diagnosed with BC back in 2014, had a mastectomy and only had to take Letrozole for 5 years. I thought it was a fluke and thought nothing more about it. Well, low and behold it is back!! I thought I had pulled a muscle from

Is a block semen tube a risk?
I've had a TURP and a following stricture Op as a result. Now my flow is good. But some time after the stricture Op I started getting painful ejaculations (not I have had a vasectomy 40 yrs ago). Now there is no discharge of semen at all and even though I have or had reverse ejaculation it now does not

Post RP Questions...
I had a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy 3 weeks ago. No urinary control issues since the catheter was removed and ED doesn't seem like it's going to be an issue at this point either. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones in that respect, Unfortunately my final pathology showed my Gleason score to

Pred/adcal
Advice please - is it necessary to take Adcal when my bone profile shows good calcium levels? When I next speak to the Doc (in a months time!) Im going to ask him if he will prescribe me just Vit.D. I had supposedly high cholesterol when starting on Pred several months ago, even though no one told
