23 September is RLS Awareness Day. I've been trying to contact people to raise awareness and I may have 2 radio interviews coming out on Health Radio and a possible article in the Sunday Mirror on the benefits of medical cannabis. If they go ahead, I'll post details. I used medical cannabis to get 3 hours deep sleep before I was successfully prescribed Buprenorphine- but I intend to bring up RLS.
If you can do anything to raise awareness, please do so. Whether it's writing to your GP or MP or local newspaper.
It's the most common neurological disease in the world, but it's the one no one knows anything about, including most of the medical profession.

It's the sleep I've been getting for the last 8 weeks on Buprenorphine. After years of very severe RLS, I'm now on a mission to spread the word and get RLS taught & methadone and Buprenorphine prescribed to the hundreds and hundreds who are still getting RLS every single night on meds that are just not helping. My MS fatigue is under control as well so off to fight the fight...
Thinking of a more visible campaign to make the RCGPs take notice. Maybe chaining ourselves to the railings outside their head office????
