Abdominal hysterectomy to treat adenomyosis & Endo - anyone have experience to share?
Hi, Hope someone has similar experience and could help me today. I had an unexpected call with my consultant yesterday who was trying to reach patients due to cancellations. I was diagnosed years ago with stage 2/3 widespread Endo and since then adenomyosis. I've tried most treatments and finally found

Wonderful đź‘Źđź‘Ź
I’m also waiting for my Operation !Hysterectomy. It’s great to hear positive feedback. On this site it a pleasure to hear from great wonderful and brave women and girls. Having these issues & injections so reassuring that we are not alone suffering such symptoms. I really appreciate hearing of everyone

Upcoming surgery
Hi I feel very selfish for posting this as I know many people are in a worse condition than I am, with the news of a national lockdown I fear my surgery for next week will be cancelled. This will be done in a private hospital so not sure if that changes anything? Due to have a hysterectomy. Feeling

Post op underwear
I'm planning ahead, not knowing when my hysterectomy will take place. :) What is the best underwear for post op? Are we talking about buying special undies or your regular underwear in a bigger size? Also, how much blood loss did you have in your surgical bleed? Would a normal Always pad be enough?

First very short walk after hysterectomy omg its heaven to stand straight!! Not walked straight or pain free for 4 years!!!
Absolutely loving life at the moment! Something I was so nervous I would never experience again. Was told Id never walk again to walking straight and pain free im ever so grateful! I just hope endo no longer wants to be my friend. Im so hopeful and see a great future... something I couldn't see past

I was diagnosed in June 2019 with PMR after an unexpected attack out of the blue , when I was in so much pain I couldn't move and began shaking and with my teeth chattering. An excellent GP pulled out all the stops, arranged immediate blood tests and other examinations and very soon prescribed prednisolone

Adenomyosis-treatment success stories....?
Hello ladies-hope you're all as well as can be today. I'm desperately hoping that some of you might be able to offer me some light at the end of the tunnel in terms of adeno treatments..... The pill -anyone had success with this? Chemically induced menopause...? Any other form of treatment? The coil

Itching.
I have no idea what I’m expecting anyone to help with but I get so sick of being fobbed off by doctors that I just feel the need to vent somewhere. To give a brief history I’ve not felt well since the birth of my 6th child 7 years ago. Exhaustion, sleep issues, period issues, I got diagnosed in 2019

Reefer Madness!!!
I'll say right from the start that I don't smoke dope (anymore). I tried it after a decade+ break when I was briefly back in the UK a year or so back and it near completely sorted out the neuropathy in my legs. I cut my Gabapentin use by 80-90% as well. My legs felt fantastic. No more tingly, achey

What next!
Having suffered for 40 years and tried most things I am now just on 30ml Codeine and totally exhausted with lack of sleep as it doesn't really work. I've been reading through all the wonderful advice about medicine to help RLS, concluding that Tramadol or Medical Cannabis is the best next step? Maybe

So despite being told zoladex works.....clearly it doesn't
I am so thankful for such a knowledgeable surgeon! I had been on zoladex for almost a year despite pain every day I fought so hard and in my personal case a hysterectomy was a good choice. I was riddled with endometriosis in uterus ovaries even in my muscle wall! I had 2 endometriomas removed and now
