New international study below. "Re-treatment with a second course of six radium-223 injections after disease progression is well tolerated, with minimal hematologic toxicity and low radiographic bone progression rates in this small study with limited follow-up. Favorable safety and early effects on disease

Hello, many thanks in advance. Looking for others that are in my situation or have been in my situation in the past. Ideally would like to find those that have had a non zero low measurable PSA indefinitely for years that have avoided BCR (biochemical recurrence). I have two friends that have been in

I was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer. 62 years old and otherwise in very good shape. I had a radical prostatectomy back in 2014 (Gleason score 8). Everything fine since then and PSA under control (about 0.875). I developed lower back pains in about April and initially sought remedy

Anyone experienced using fibroscan results?
Hey guys I recently got diagnosed with hepatitis B. I was devastated. Im 24 so the idea of having to live with it possibly all my life is very depressing. I got a fibroscan done a few days ago and it turned out a pretty unusual experience for the doctor. He couldn't use the M probe on me with any success

Adrenal support duration
Hi All, A quick question regarding the duration of adrenal support. Diagnosed with Hashimotos in early 2016, currently taking 50mcg of T3 only, ferritin, folate, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D levels are all good. I saw Dr Peatfield a few months back and he thought that my adrenals were not too bad but would

Anxiety and nerves
I've been seeing a lot of posts about people worried about nerve issues. As for me I know for a fact that anxiety does affect your nerves in a big way. I've been paying extra attention the last four or five times my anxiety came on and every time it messed with my nerves. I thought the worst too like

How getting a pneumonia vaccination has led to unstable PD treatment for me
My internist reminded that I hadn't had a pneumonia vaccination since 2004 and I am about 69 years old and at risk due to PD, the aspiration issue. I got the damn vaccination and then 2 days later I had a hot swollen red area on my arm below the IM injecton site that the doctor diagnosed cellulitis a

Am I vitamin b deficient?
Hi guys so I don't know what to do. For months I have been having stomach issues and migraines. I have been told I have anxiety as the diagnosis for symptoms like shortness of breath. I have low vitamin d that I've been taking for about 5 months now (2000iu)(so maybe that's why I'm tired?). I also have

Maxillary/Aspergillusus
I had Maxillary surgery a few years ago and developed acute sinus problems approx. 2 yrs. after the surgery. What type/dose of Vitamin B12 do I need?
I have been scrapping at the bottom of the range 196 [175-190] for years and so I self-prescribed 1000mcg cyanocobalamin as my GP wouldn't help and just chirped "you 're in range". This took the value up to 380ish. I stopped taking cyanocobalamin as I have gut dysbiosis/damage and didn't feel it was

Vitamin pills
Hello Zeta-Chi Have you tried vitamin pills? Not the kind you can buy in supermarket or chemist but more expensive and better quality ones you can buy on the internet. I recommend a site called Nutriglow, they offer vitamins at discounted prices. They say that you should get all vitamins you need

Radical Prostatectomy [RP] versus Radiotherapy.
New study below. (Somewhat off-topic, but newly-diagnosed men sometimes seek advice from old-timers.) I find it interesting that the subject has not yet been laid to rest, but there are vocal oncologists who deny that RP gives better survival results. "We analyzed 268,378 men with intermediate-risk
